Pizza ($30 CAD) & pasta ($30 CAD)were mediocre at best. Ceasar salad ($32 CAD) was nothing to write home about—mostly lettuce. Waiter either charged us double or gave us another customer's bill as we were charged $90 per person CAD. (The total bill came to $113.63 CAD.) Management gave us back $40 CAD but we still feel ripped off. They didn't want to redo the bill involving our credit cards because they were too busy.

This place oozes the warmth & charm of old Quebec City.

We found this fabulous Italian restaurant steps from the Chateau. The atmosphere is authentic & the food is spectacular. Our pasta was perfectly al dente & service was friendly & prompt.

Terrific evening all around.

Service & ambience were exceptional. The wine list is quite extensive & satisfies most tastes & price points. The food was very good. Do not miss the pizza. It is excellent However, both my husband & I had pasta dishes & they were both dry. We asked for olive oil to bring some moisture to the dish. The pasta was done perfectly al dente but both dishes were lacking in sauce. A 4.7 rating out of 5 for food. All other aspects of the experience are a "5"

We had a lovely dinner at Bello & would highly recommend this restaurant. The staff was very professional & friendly. Michael, our waiter, was wonderful! We each had a pasta dish (delicious) & wine. Very glad that we ordered the 1/2 portion which was more than enough. Dessert was fabulous-the perfect ending to dinner. Many thanks to Bello for the Amaretto Sours that were a very thoughtful surprise at the end of the meal. Little did they know that is my favorite drink!

A wonderful location in upper city. Our hotel suggested we make a reservation well in advance. So glad we did as they were full!

Comfortable restaurant , with a warm feeling decor. Service was veryattentive & professional. Food was good, we split a pizza & a portion of the pasta bolgnese. Portions were generous & both dishes were tasty. But the clear winner of the night was the carpaccio appetizer which was maybe the best one we have had at many an Italian restaurant all over the world. They have a bit of a different take on it which renders it much more delicious & the portion was surprisngly large, very suitable for 3 or 4 to split as an appetizer. Price were very reasonable for the level of dining experience & the menu is adult & kid friendly. This is a good stop for when you want something familiar, filling & satisfying. Not out of this world but a very solid experience!

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere. Service was average/good. Food average as well. The tuna tartare was overcooked. Large heaping of pasta with a very sparse allowance of sauce, so sparse couldn't really taste it. I did request & was provided more sauce but by the time that arrived which was a lengthy wait, the pasta was cold. Long intervals between serving of the courses too. We stated we were Pescatarian, no meat for us but were served with ham on top of our Caesar's. I had also emailed a request to bump our reservation to a little bit later & never heard back from anyone. The email was sent in the morning so the staff had ample time to respond. All things combined, we wouldn't dine here again & wouldn't recommend it to others either. We had great food & great service at all other restaurants in Quebec City so this place stands out as a disappointment comparatively.

Service was really excellent, lovely ambiance, great drinks, great food. The only negative feedback is that the fettuccine ai funghi didn't have a lot of flavor. The shrimp arrabbiata pasta however was excellent. & the aperol margarita was outstanding!

We had a great time at Bello celebrating an anniversary. The service was quick & friendly & fluently bilingual. We had to wait at the bar for about 15 minutes for our reservation but the bartender poured us complimentary champagne which was a pleasant surprise. The pasta we ate was tasty & cooked perfectly. The packed house at Bello was a bit loud but otherwise a fantastic dining experience which I highly recommend.

Went on the recommendation of some friendly staff at the Chateau Frontenac. Found it excellent. Shared a delightful salmon gravlax app, & a pasta & pizza.
