With its view of the sky over Old Quebec City, Bello’s terrace, once finished, will offer a totally unique configuration. With the same number of seats as the restaurant’s interior, the ground floor with its glass covering will now be capped with a second-floor patio open to the fresh air. The food, ambiance & service were all exceptional. I had the sautéed cod & risotto & my husband had the mushroom risotto, both were delicious.

This is clearly THE place to eat in old Quebec. I loved my braised lamb risotto, but my husband was not quite so happy about his veal. In general tho, the food is terrific. What we did not like was the impersonal ambience & the chaotic environment. It is quite crowded & our waiter had to step out of the way of several servers while taking our order. Chairs were removed from our table over our heads to accommodate a very large party next to us. We had several people serving us & they were very efficient, but always in such a hurry we had no time to connect on a personal level

Nourriture excellente, le risotto à la joue de veau est incroyable, par contre ns avions une réservation pour 20:30 & nous avons eu notre table à 21:00 heures sans excuses pour le retard!

A wonderful lunch with my wife & 8 & 13 years boys. Beef carpaccio was fantastic, my carbonara was delicious, wife's ravioli was outstanding, 8-year old's margarita pizza was solid, & 13-year old's seafood risotto was solid. Desserts were yummy. Outdoor seating was pleasant. Service was friendly & prompt. Very, very pleasant experience overall. Highly recommended on its own & in comparison to the other 7 or 8 restaurants we visited in Quebec City.

This is one of my favorite restaurants both in the U.S & in Canada. From the service to the food. I took my fiancee there for dinner with the intention to proposed to her. I came in earlier to see if they could accommodate for me & help me setup a romantic setting for the proposal & they were totally on board. The service was top notch; our waitress (Cynthia) was attentive & very jovial. The maitre d'Oeuvre was kind & checked on us constantly. The food was very delicious. We both order the risotto; I had the "veau braisee", she had the "agneau braisee". Totally loved it. My fiancee was definitely wowed by the whole experience. This is a restaurant that I will visit every time I'm in Quebec City. Oooh the also have FREE valet parking (well don't forget to tip the valet though). Huge thank you to you guys for the whole experience.
