With its view of the sky over Old Quebec City, Bello’s terrace, once finished, will offer a totally unique configuration. With the same number of seats as the restaurant’s interior, the ground floor with its glass covering will now be capped with a second-floor patio open to the fresh air. Restaraunt is very nice with indoor & outdoor seating. Staff very friendly & welcoming of non French speaking patrons. Wide food selection. Service ordering & reciveing was fast. Had the Ceasar Salad for 2 for $32, which was HUGE & could feed 4or 5 people. Very tasty with sliced Parmesan & slices of brucheto. Would be better if they reduced the size to half the amount along with the price. Order the Risotto with Beef Cheeks, very tender & tasty, portion size large, almost too much with ordering bread & caesar salad, okay if ordered by itself.
Also ordered the Risotto with Scallops, tomatoes & saffron. Portion large, again okay by itself without appetizers, otherwise too much. Scallops were nicely cooked & tender, but a few had sand in them still. Risotto for both dishes had some under cooked & eldente pieces.

Nous avons l'habitude d'excellentes tables & nous avions hâte de découvrir Bello. Nous étions 4 & nous avons été grandement déçus. Les calmars étaient bons & la pizza aussi mais le reste laissait à désirer. La sauce brune de l'escalope était épaisse & d'une texture & saveur assez quelconque. Les pâtes en accompagnement n'avait aucune saveur (à peine huilée)! Le carbonara était ok sans plus. & le risotto de pétoncles avait un goût acidulé peu intéressant. Par ailleurs, notre réservation était à 17h & nous n'avions pas été avisés que nous devions quitter à 18h30! Sur une bonne note, l'accueil du valet était exceptionnellement agréable & celui du maître-d'hôtel aussi.

Belle ambiance décontractée & feutrée. Nous avons adoré nos entrées: Gravlax de saumon, & la meilleure fondue parmesan que j'ai jamais mangé. Toutefois, j'ai trouvé le risotto un peu sec, & j'ai été déçue par le parmesan en poudre. Service impeccable.
