Restaurant toujours à son meilleure. Que ce soit le midi ou le soir, j'y amène des amis depuis de nombreuses années pour être sûr de ne pas se tromper.
Yanick le patron est super sympa & me reconnait toujours!
Le grand plus est le voiturier qui a cet endroit est indispensable sourtout en période estivale où le stationnement est extrèmement compliqué.

Popped into Bello Ristorante on a whim while wandering through Old Québec, & it turned out to be a great find. The location on Rue Saint-Louis is right in the heart of the historic district, & the interior immediately felt a step above a casual lunch spot - warm lighting, rustic wood accents, & an elegant, romantic feel even for a midday visit.

We shared the caprese mozzarella salad, which was fresh & simple done right, & followed it with a wood-fired pizza that had a beautifully crisp, well-cooked crust - clearly one of their specialties. Everything felt fresh & well-executed.

Staff were friendly & attentive without being intrusive, which made for a relaxed lunch even though we hadn't planned ahead or made a reservation. The overall vibe felt more upscale than we expected for a casual pop-in, which was a nice surprise.

Bello is a great option if you're exploring Old Québec & want a meal that feels a bit more elevated than your typical grab-&-go lunch. Would happily return for dinner to try more of the menu.

The pasta & risotto dishes were pretty good (the sauces rich, the pasta firm if a little molto al dente) & the barolo flavoursome if not the most robust of vintage.

Service & presentation was overall lacking & generally felt a bit rushed & frosty.

Une soirée extraordinaire. Une expérience extraordinaire.

Tout a commencé avec Gabriel, le maître d'hôtel, qui a fait un miracle pour nous trouver une belle place, malgré que nous n'avions pas de réservation. Nous avons été installés à la terrasse arrière, avec les chauffe-terrasse. Ça commençait déjà très bien.

Après, que dire de Patricio, notre serveur? Il a été plus que charmant, plus que gentil, plus que courtois. Aucune pression pour manger rapidement. Au contraire, il nous a permis de commencer avec les entrées & de prendre le temps de décider ce que nous voulions pour le repas principal.
Tout était parfait.
Pour ma part, j'ai pris les pappardelles avec joue de boeuf, & le mari, le risotto au homard avec filet mignon. L'entrée était extraordinaire, un carpaccio de veau & les polpettes. Le dessert était bon, le vin était bon. Tout était excellent.

Un gros merci pour cet excellent service. Nous avons passé une très belle soirée.

The food is excellent the atmosphere is ok the problem is the pack to many people in the tables are much to close to each other I understand they want more customers but this is to much.
We have been going there for years this year was the last time it was just uncomfortable.
