Salade César vinaigrée avec pancetta crue & 2-3 croûtons égarés dans l'assiette. Pas le meilleur choix. Mais l'escalope parmigiana & le service attentionné font oublier des choses. J'y retournerais, mais en dehors de la saison touristique...

Service was great as usual & food was good too except for my daughter's pizza as it was overdone. Other than that we had a lovely experience. We will be back the next time we are in Quebec City.

We enjoyed our meal immensely. The staff was attentive & the restaurant ambiance is very pleasant. Would not hesitate to eat here again or recommend.

The review here does not concern the quality & diversity of the food options offered by the restaurant. From this perspective, the food is great & we do offer our compliments to the Chef. Nevertheless, the weakest point of the restaurant, but not at all unimportant, is the service offered by the waitresses. It is simply appaling, at least taking into account the experience we have just been through today. We consider the service the business card of the restaurant. At Bello, the service is not professional at all & the waitresses not prepared to treat the clients accordingly: they are not suitable for the job. One way of giving the message to the restaurant that the service has not been approved is the client´s choice not to grant the tip to the waitresses. So we did, but to our surprise one of them told us it was compolsory by law & that her salary depended on it. We agreed with the second statement, but not the first one. However, as foreigners & not aware of the country´s law regarding this matter, we decided not to argue & we paid the tip accordingly. We then decided to seek for more information about the tipping issue in Québec & as we expected: tipping is not compolsory, you give accordingly to the service you have actually received, 15%, 10%, or nothing! So, we´ve come to the conclusion that we were actually compelled to leave a tip which was undeserving.
Problem here is not the money, but the principle, reason why we´d like this statement to linger for those whom are going to use this an other restaurants in town.

Belle soirée d'anniversaire de mariage au Bello. L'endroit est très beau & le risotto aux ris de veau étaient au-delà de délicieux!!! Notre unique bémol, & c'est souvent le cas l'été en plein boom touristique, c'est la vitesse du service. Alors que nous avions prévu une longue soirée à étirer notre bouteille de vin, nous étions un peu poussés vers la sortie en à peine plus d'une heure... Nous aurions aussi souhaité un fond musical plus jazz ou romance italienne à la limite que le techno boumboum qu'on entend partout. Ce qui ne nous empêche pas de recommander chaudement le Bello, comme notre fils l'a fait pour nous.
