AVOID this place at all cost, especially if it's for an event.
The place is huge but horribly designed in terms of acoustics. It was impossible to even hear what the person next to you was saying. The singer had to get off the stage & walk around as an attempt to being heard.
I went there last night, as part of an event, with a little over 200 other people. Despite having taken our orders in advance, they weren't able to plan ahead. 4 people in my table, didn't get to eat what they had ordered because'they ran out' of it. Whoever runs the service needs to step up & learn the ropes. At 9 pm (service started at 8) we were starving & still waiting for our dishes to arrive. In the meantime we saw waiters running around serving coffee & wine (one serving at a time...). No, your priority is not serving coffee to go with the dessert while the table next to them hasn't even gotten their main dish! No, having one server dedicated to serving one glass of wine instead of two meals when there were fully dedicated bartenders 20-50 steps away is incomprehensible to me.
I ordered the option of raviolis with grilled chicken, arugula & Parmesan. I didn't take a photo out of respect to the organising committee (they were sitting at my table). Verdict: had to season the SIX raviolis with salt & pepper. Yes, my main dinner, the one I waited 2 hours to be served was mere six raviolis, not giant ones, just regular size. The'grilled' chicken was cut-up bite-size pieces of chicken breast, the type you serve a toddler (& I'd dare say the portion was even smaller than that you feed a toddler). There was arugula & no Parmesan either.
Bathrooms... I like the idea of the co-ed toilets, but they lack on cleanliness. The event started at 6:30, by 7:15 the trashcans where already overflowing. I don't know how often they clean them but they were smelly.
The only positive aspect of yesterday's experience was our waitress. She absolutely did her best with the little power she had. She could improve though in the following: last night, she communicated with 3 out of the 4 unlucky diners who were left without food. The 4th one was sitting 2 chairs down & was completely ignored. She found out about the whole ordeal only because her co-workers passed along the message. She was simply served another'meal' (the scraps of the other two menus) without being consulted (what if she was allergic to fish?). Two of the 4'unfed' diners were bummed out not necessarily because of there was no more steak but because they had chosen that menu for the fries, yet they weren't served the fries nor offered. They had to bring it up & only then they got them (they were generous about it).
Overall, never going there again, not for an event, not for any reason.
To those thinking of hosting your Christmas party or anything alike, DON'T. Save your face, save your time, save your money. Simply not worth it.
Quite frankly, in general, this place is overrated. The atmosphere & the service is great, a nice trendy place with good music & sports playing on huge tvs. However, the food, which is the main reason you'd go to a restaurant in the first place, looks good written on paper in the menu, but very disappointing in real life. everything was pretty much overpriced for the size of portions & the all-in-all taste of the food; it was quite frankly, tasteless. The fish tartare didn't taste like anything, which is honestly a first I've experienced in my life, like no spices or flavors whatsoever we're added to it. In conclusion, go there to drink beers & watch a sports events with your friends, not to eat.
