The service was very fast & friendly. There are a few seats. The people i was bringing pastries to absolutely loved the pastries. 😋 The coffee looked good too, however i spilled mine in the car, so didnt get a chance to taste or review it. 😭
THIS is how FRESH pastries are supposed to be made! WOW! You most likely have never seen, let alone eaten, a pasty with THAT many layers & fluffyness bc they're made FRESH & aren't frozen like everybody else! You WILL make a mess eating them & think you're in france when the sun blinds you in the window seat before you exit to walk New France along St Jean to the Vieux Quebec ;)
This boulangerie deserves a write up in the travel guide book (but then it will be super crowded the next time I visit Quebec City so I selfishly hope this jewel will stay as a secret). All the pastries I tried during our 5 day stay are great & fresh, not too sweet, & I love the play on words of its shop name-this place is indeed an epiphany!!
Great european-like pastries - not TOO sweet, exactly the taste we were going for! Also bread, fine-tasting crumb, not that often for Quebec.
A gem of a little bakery that wasn't too far from our hotel. We went in for breakfast one day & every single thing we had was so yummy we had to go back before leaving Quebec City! It's one of the few places that open early in the morning & is just perfect to grab & go some pastries or even sit in & eat.
We had the viral New York croissant which was just buttery, caramely goodness. The apple pastry was good too. Their coffees are amazing! The danish & pistachio croissants were perfect. We also grabbed a chicken sandwich which kept us full all morning.
A must visit if you are in the area!
