On the recommendation of our concierge, we came here for breakfast & it did not disappoint. There was a bit of a line, but things moved along very smoothly. I'd say there were about 10 people/parties ahead of us & we were seated in about 20-25 minutes. We (er, I) chose to sit at the counter, just to be'closer to the action'. The servants were super nice, quickly switching to English when my French just wasn't cutting it ;-). They were very friendly & helpful with making choices. The homemade bread & jam were super delish. &, c'mon, bread plus cafe au lait in a French-speaking city - how can you go wrong with that! Well, there was that & some lovely eggs benedict. - Reasonable prices (even for a tourist area), great food, friendly service.

I ordered an egg benedict. This comes with fries &'veggies'. I asked for the pan that's cooking it to not have been the same pan that's cooked any pork products if possible as I don't eat pork. I was told that the fries are usually cooked using the same pan/stove & that they couldn't do it any other way. I asked for a replacement of the fries & the waitress said simply'no, no replacements possible', but i still paid for the same price as the original.

What I got is what you see in the picture. A small piece of lettuce & 2 slices of tomato. That's all the veggies they provided lol..

As for the egg benedict, the eggs were too runny (they didn't ask how i wanted them cooked). The cheese used is low quality. The whole thing is just filled with sauce. It was just too soggy.

This was a place recommended by our airbnb host. Sadly it wasn't great. 2 stars because our first waiter who seated us was nice & accommodating. Not coming back.

We came here two mornings in a row! Eggs Benedict & the jam for the win.

Enjoyed a fulfilling breakfast of french toast with two eggs over easy, lite salad fixings & breakfast potatoes. The French toast is lite & fluffy, great with the maple syrup. The maple syrup is a small extra charge. It's not included. The staff is very nice & friendly, also attentive.

Hit this place for dinner one night & breakfast the next day. Friendly staff, local diner vibes, good food. Ragout was delicious, meat pie solid, good specials to choose from. Breakfast bumps this review to a 5. Breakfast poutine was awesome as was the eggs Benedict & the solid breakfast plates with crepes. Be forwarned... you'll need to nap afterwards! ALOT of food!

Omgoodness this spot is so so so good. It is a diner without the grease. The food is clean, fresh & so tasty. Eggs cooked perfectly. French fries crispy & fluffy at the same time. French toast cooked to perfection. Clubhouse sandwich made with care & very flavorful. Super cute & very very clean. Our server was a delight & accommodating & super nice. This is the kind of spot you want to eat at every day you are in Quebec. That is what I will be doing!!! A must visit when in Quebec.

We arrived during the lunch rush & had to stand outside in line. Even though the weather was chilly & our toes were numb, the queue was long! The food was fantastic, particularly the smoked meat paired with eggs Benedict. The staff were friendly & greeted us with smiles as they served us. The prices were reasonable, making it quite budget-friendly. I can't wait to return!

The atmosphere is adorable, brings you back in time. The waitress was so attentive & friendly to everyone. The homemade bread & jam is a must. Best Spinach Eggs Benedict I have had to date. Canadian Ham is another must have, but bacon is also good. Better than the Fairmount breakfast, reslly! I wish we had Le Buffet De L'Antiquaire in New Jersey.

We were looking for a diner atmosphere that served Breakfast all day, this is definitely the place to be . When arriving you stand behind a sign & wait to be seated . You have the option to sit inside or out . We sat at the counter where all the action happens . The waitstaff was cheery, continually checking on us. We had the eggs Benedict & the local breakfast bowl mix of eggs , true those potatoes, & cheese . We knew this was a local favorite because we were seated by two police officers having their breakfast. & the place was packed the waitstaff seemed to know quite a few of the patrons .

I had an amazing breakfast at Le Buffet de L'antiquaire. Located by Old Quebec, it's definitely worth the wait! The price was alright, & the menu had a good variety of breakfast meals & items to choose from. Not to mention, their Café au lait & regular coffee were strong & hot. I ordered their Special Antiquarie (2 eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, baked beans) & La Cochonne (breakfast poutine with all breakfast meat, hash browns, peppers, onions, tomatoes). Both were super delicious especially the La Cochonne. The meat, eggs, vegetable, & hash brown went really together with the hollandaise & cheese curds. At the end of it all, it was hearty & full enough to last the entire morning & afternoon while exploring around Quebec City!
