Great service, & the food has robust variety of spices in every dish! Grateful to stumble across Carthage Express. The only regret is finding it on the last day of our visit.

Très chouette resto tunisien, accueil adorable & service rapide, on s'y sent tout de suite bien. Petit bémol : à midi, plus de brik ni de méchouia. Le serveur m'a gentiment proposé un kaftaji'à peu près pareil que le mechouia', sans dire que c'était un plat beaucoup plus copieux… & surtout presque le double du prix (15$ au lieu de 8$). J'ai à peine mangé, j'ai demandé un doggy bag & ils étaient super gentils, mais j'ai trouvé ça dommage de ne pas avoir été mieux informée.
Beaucoup de positif, mais ce manque de clarté m'a laissée un peu déçue d'où les 3 étoiles.
The food was absolutely delicious full of flavour & really well done both the combo & the Ojja but I couldn't help noticing the server he was doing everything on his own taking orders handling everyone's extra needs going to the kitchen to prepare the food, bringing it back to the tables, cleaning up afterwards, & still trying to keep a smile on his face the whole time. Honestly, it's way too much for one person if the restaurant gets busy, they really need to hire more staff to help
Beautiful restaurant with a charming Arabic atmosphere. The prices are reasonable & the food is very tasty! I suspect the kitchen forgot to add oil/vinegar/lemon to the Tunisian salad, would highly recommend for the full flavor!

From the moment we walked in, the owner greeted us with an enormous smile & a welcoming vibe that instantly made our family of four feel at home. The atmosphere is a delightful blend of cozy & stylish, with authentic Tunisian decor that transports you straight to the heart of North Africa. The vibrant colors & thoughtful touches in the design added a special charm to our dining experience.
The food? Simply phenomenal! Every dish was a burst of Tunisian flavor, prepared with love & care. We opted for the Trio Shish Taouk, & oh my gosh, it was a highlight of our trip! The chicken was perfectly seasoned, tender, & juicy, paired with wonderfully crispy, flavorful potatoes & fresh salads that added a delightful crunch. The portions were generous, & the prices-around $12-13 CAD per person-felt like a steal for such high-quality, homemade fare. The couscous was another standout, spiced to perfection & served with tender meats & vegetables that left us all raving. We also couldn't resist the mint tea, which was refreshing & the perfect complement to our meal.
What truly sets Carthage Express apart is the exceptional service. The owner's kindness & attentiveness made us feel like royalty. Despite the restaurant being busy, they took the time to offer personalized recommendations & ensure every detail of our meal was perfect. It's clear that this is a family-run gem where passion for Tunisian cuisine & customer satisfaction shine through.
