Le 160, rue Saint-Paul s’est toujours avéré un lieu où les ingrédients et le service de qualité supérieurs font la loi. Fondé en 1860 par Narcisse Rioux, le magasin général Chez Rioux & Pettigrew fournissait aux restaurateurs, aux épiciers, aux hôpitaux et aux communautés religieuses une grande variété de produits locaux ou d’importation.

Barils de mélasse, poches de farine, sucre, gruau, fruits et légumes en conserves, épices, noix, raisins secs, chocolat, bonbons présentés sur des étalages… On y trouvait même de l’alcool jusqu’à la création de la Commission des liqueurs en 1921!

Le Rioux & Pettigrew est un restaurant exceptionnel tant pour la qualité gastronomique que pour l'accueil. Tous les employés sont d'une attention particulière pour les clients. En autre, nous avons été reçus avec grande attention par Gabrielle tout juste lors de notre 2e visite. À recommander sans aucune hésitation.

Restaurant vraiment qui vaut pas le coup sur tous les plans. Un restaurant qui te force à manger un menu à l'aveugle qui n'est vraiment pas à la hauteur de la confiance qu'un client leur fait, ni au niveau prix ni goût ni quantité. Je ne vous le recommande absolument pas. Sans oublier l'ambiance & la décoration qui ne ressemblent vraiment à rien. J'ai fini par manger un Tim Hortons.

Lovely restaurant, great staff, & terrific food. We were told a few days before our visit that they would have a price fixed dinner & no ala carte menu...The four courses were all well presented & were very tasty.We would highly recommend & hope to return soon...

We had the Pettigrew tasting menu & wine pairing & sat at the bar. The food was fantastic, as was the service. Highly recommend. Be sure to block off some time though as it took awhile to make it through the four courses. The cocktails are also fantastic.

Amazing service from Elise & the food was spectacular! Went we the blind 4 courses services & was even more amazed as the plates arrived. Definitely recommends the wine pairing. I was also able to grab a coffee in their little salon off the kitchen which was the perfect end to the evening !

Wow!!!!!! Nous avons vécus un moment magique
Le service tout simplement incroyable, merci à notre serveur Félix qui était si attentionné. Les plats concoctés par le chef étaient d'un délice, l'accord mets vin 👌🏻 Le décor à coupé le souffle le tout digne d'un grand restaurant!! Un équipe de feu !! . Je recommande fortement l'endroit & nous allons assurément y retourner !!!
