Le 160, rue Saint-Paul s’est toujours avéré un lieu où les ingrédients et le service de qualité supérieurs font la loi. Fondé en 1860 par Narcisse Rioux, le magasin général Chez Rioux & Pettigrew fournissait aux restaurateurs, aux épiciers, aux hôpitaux et aux communautés religieuses une grande variété de produits locaux ou d’importation.

Barils de mélasse, poches de farine, sucre, gruau, fruits et légumes en conserves, épices, noix, raisins secs, chocolat, bonbons présentés sur des étalages… On y trouvait même de l’alcool jusqu’à la création de la Commission des liqueurs en 1921!

Everything on the menu was delicious, I have to say it was one of the best meal I had in Quebec City.
Price is Midrange not super expensive & to be honest if we were to have the same type of food & service in Toronto it will probably cost us 1.5x more.
Service was great & attentive, they explained each dish.
All in all will definitely recommend & come again.

We had a wonderful dinner. It's such a small, intimate place, & we sat at the bar & had great recommendations on wine & food from the the bartender. The ambiance was really cozy & welcoming, we highly recommend this as a great place to take away that winter chill. The food was delicious, as was the wine.

Incredible meal, wonderful service. Every bite of the tasting menu was absolutely delicious. Even the kids meal that they suggested for our 3 year old was amazing. Highly recommended!

Ce n'est pas notre première visite dans ce restaurant mais l'expérience est toujours très agréable. L'ambiance est chaleureuse, le personnel est courtois, service excellent & que dire de la bouffe...un pur délice. Fortement recommandé.

It was an exceptional experience in EVERY way - atmosphere, service & of course the food. I can't even describe how many flavours were presented throughout our multi-course meal. Each dish clearly showing the kind of attention to detail that makes it clear the chef/kitchen team love what they are doing. Will enthusiastically recommend to everyone I know who are travelling to Quebec City!
