Le 160, rue Saint-Paul s’est toujours avéré un lieu où les ingrédients et le service de qualité supérieurs font la loi. Fondé en 1860 par Narcisse Rioux, le magasin général Chez Rioux & Pettigrew fournissait aux restaurateurs, aux épiciers, aux hôpitaux et aux communautés religieuses une grande variété de produits locaux ou d’importation.

Barils de mélasse, poches de farine, sucre, gruau, fruits et légumes en conserves, épices, noix, raisins secs, chocolat, bonbons présentés sur des étalages… On y trouvait même de l’alcool jusqu’à la création de la Commission des liqueurs en 1921!

My husband & I had the ‘blind menu' & everything was fantastic. The variety, combinations, & sparkling flavours & textures made the meal the best we've had in many years. Friendly staff & good wine rounded out the experience. I would highly recommend!

Nous avons eu un excellent repas en prenant les secrets du chef avec accord mets & vin. De plus, notre serveur Zacharie a fait de notre repas un plus très attentionné pour ses clients. Je dois dire que tout le personnel de ce restaurant sont attentifs à leur client. Vais-je y retourner c'est sûr & je le recommande. Dans l'ensemble ça mérite un 11 sur 10

Fabulous ambiance, service was exceptional & the food was outstanding, found it reasonably priced. A perfect evening out. I highly recommend if there are two people to sit at the bar. The interaction with the bartender & sommelier was entertaining & informative. Thank you for a lovely evening

Nourriture excellente, service impeccable & atmosphère agréable. Les huîtres, la pieuvre & le bouillon rhubarbe étaient tout à fait délicieux (& que dire des cocktails & des desserts!). Je recommande fortement Chez Rioux & Pettigrew pour une soirée spéciale!

We ordered the $70 surprise menu & it was amazing! Each course came in a great presentation. The servers were super nice & friendly, & the restaurant has a cozy atmosphere. Highly recommended when you're looking to try delicious food in the old Quebec city.

Menu dégustation nous a été fort recommandé ( par mon fils)
Le vin & les plats étaient en accords
Étant de souche des Pettigrew j'avais un partis pris...
Une belle surprise pour nous d'avoir découvert cet endroit magnifique & les gens qui en font partie
