Le 160, rue Saint-Paul s’est toujours avéré un lieu où les ingrédients et le service de qualité supérieurs font la loi. Fondé en 1860 par Narcisse Rioux, le magasin général Chez Rioux & Pettigrew fournissait aux restaurateurs, aux épiciers, aux hôpitaux et aux communautés religieuses une grande variété de produits locaux ou d’importation.

Barils de mélasse, poches de farine, sucre, gruau, fruits et légumes en conserves, épices, noix, raisins secs, chocolat, bonbons présentés sur des étalages… On y trouvait même de l’alcool jusqu’à la création de la Commission des liqueurs en 1921!

Celebrated my wife's birthday here & the staff was very attentive in our likes/dislikes when doing the tasting menu. Would recommend this place as a must in Old Town. Thank you Chez Rioux & Pettigrew!

La salle est magnifique, le service impeccable, la nourriture est délicieuse! Je recommande chaudement de réserver cette salle pour une soirée entre amis ou collègues! La fête de 30 ans de mon conjoint fut mémorable grâce à vous!!

This restaurant was absolutely fantastic, I was worried about how they would approach a vegetarian & gluten free but they were flawless. Not to mention the staff were absolute amazing. Very accommodating. Would definitely revisit & recommend to anyone in the neighbourhood.

Everything was just wonderful except for 1 issue We were in a very small space & in the same room as we were in sat a table of at least 10 people We couldn't here ourselves think I have no problem with people enjoying themselves I think the restaurant should have seated them in a larger space Most of our time was spent raising our voices in order to hear each other Also the servers needed to yell as well Our bill was around $350.00 In hindsight we should have left but where do you go on Christmas night with no reservations It was not the atmosphere we had hoped for It is a shame that this happened & I would not recommend it to my friends & we will not go back It is a shame because the food is amazing

What a great surprise. Recommended highly by a friend but surpassed even his high praise. Unique, intriguing & delicious. Nothing less than great. Will visit again soon
