Le 160, rue Saint-Paul s’est toujours avéré un lieu où les ingrédients et le service de qualité supérieurs font la loi. Fondé en 1860 par Narcisse Rioux, le magasin général Chez Rioux & Pettigrew fournissait aux restaurateurs, aux épiciers, aux hôpitaux et aux communautés religieuses une grande variété de produits locaux ou d’importation.

Barils de mélasse, poches de farine, sucre, gruau, fruits et légumes en conserves, épices, noix, raisins secs, chocolat, bonbons présentés sur des étalages… On y trouvait même de l’alcool jusqu’à la création de la Commission des liqueurs en 1921!

Lorsque nous cherchons à comprendre le refus de servir pour 2 personnes ( nous étions 2 couples) le repas mets ,accord vin & qu'on nous le refuse d'un ton sec & cassant ,je qualifie ce service de 0:de plus elle nous a laissé sécher avec nos additions à notre table.!!! Vous êtes une adresse préférée à Québec mais ce service sous 0 nous laisse ... perplexe quant à continuer de recommander votre restaurant & c'est très dommage

Sophisticated without being pretentious, super fresh food, great service & explanations of the dishes & wine. They ran out of oysters 🦪 so we only had 5 but the intriguing minuets was delightful for the ones we received!

The very best from the wait staff to fabulous bartender , Ben, the food. We will be back again & again....the only disappointment was that I could only give you 5 stars...you all deserve 10! That peach martini was over the moon! I could go on & on & on! Love from Patty & Neal ( The Boston couple) Cheers! Bravo!

Une note parfaite pour un moment parfait! & je suis plutôt de nature critique, pourtant...
Très jolie sale, excellentes places près de la fenêtre, service rapide & courtois, & plats délicats, raffinés avec la touche originale qui fera de ce repas un souvenir durable.

Service was not desirable for a star chef restaurant. Host was militant like. Ordered bread because both of us had dishes with sauces & had to remind them 2x after food was served. No water service although we were drinking wine & specialty drinks. We told them about the bread delay at check time but they still did not remove the bread from the bill. Entrees & dessert had amazing flavors & textures.

One of the best meals I've had out in a long time! Every bit of the meal was perfection - it was beautifully plated, the flavor combinations were delicious, the service was great & everyone was very helpful, attentive & friendly. Highly recommend!!
