Le 160, rue Saint-Paul s’est toujours avéré un lieu où les ingrédients et le service de qualité supérieurs font la loi. Fondé en 1860 par Narcisse Rioux, le magasin général Chez Rioux & Pettigrew fournissait aux restaurateurs, aux épiciers, aux hôpitaux et aux communautés religieuses une grande variété de produits locaux ou d’importation.

Barils de mélasse, poches de farine, sucre, gruau, fruits et légumes en conserves, épices, noix, raisins secs, chocolat, bonbons présentés sur des étalages… On y trouvait même de l’alcool jusqu’à la création de la Commission des liqueurs en 1921!

We had a great meal !! We were greeted by victor & from that point forward we felt at home. Our sever Alex was also great & the bartender made us some amazing drinks. The food was high end & amazing. Farm to table & everything we had was delicious. Friendly gourmet if that makes sense. Highly recommend it.

It is a great restaurant in the shirts of old town. It is a little outside of touristy area, so not very crowded. Still, it is just 10..15 minutes walk. The food is great & the service is amazing - friendly, attentive, & knowledgeable. We did not have any problems with having more water. They accommodated our gluten free needs. The food was what you would expect from a Michelin restaurant. Also, the prices were reasonable comparing with other Michelin restaurants. They require a credit card to make a reservation.

we were early, so enjoyed wine in the'salon' beforehand. The bartender offered recommendations on some truly interesting wines! For dinner, we were really disappointed with the Poireau la Terre: it was very small portioned, limp, & the additional caviar was barely noticeable. Fortunately, oysters were fresh & presented with a nice mignonette, the blood pudding was savory & delicious, & the beef flap steak was perfect. Service was efficient & friendly (not overly so); we sat at the bar & were impressed with the bartender.

We took an Uber from the ship. We easily & safely walked back to the ship. Next time we would walk both ways. Our server was Jade & she did a great job explaining the menu options. We weren't bold enough to try the chef's choice, 5 course offering, with wine pairings. The menu has an English version for those of us that don't read or speak French. We split the cheese tray as a starter. Very fresh strawberries & blueberries with different cheeses, with some very nice focaccia. The risotto dish & the haddock were both excellent. We were stuffed, so we passed on the wonderful desserts. The meal was very reasonably paced. We were quite early to fit that day's schedule & within an hour the place was full. Reservations encouraged. Prices are in Canadian on the menu & very reasonable.
