Le 160, rue Saint-Paul s’est toujours avéré un lieu où les ingrédients et le service de qualité supérieurs font la loi. Fondé en 1860 par Narcisse Rioux, le magasin général Chez Rioux & Pettigrew fournissait aux restaurateurs, aux épiciers, aux hôpitaux et aux communautés religieuses une grande variété de produits locaux ou d’importation.

Barils de mélasse, poches de farine, sucre, gruau, fruits et légumes en conserves, épices, noix, raisins secs, chocolat, bonbons présentés sur des étalages… On y trouvait même de l’alcool jusqu’à la création de la Commission des liqueurs en 1921!

J'ai reçu 3 avis de confirmer ma réservation par courriel....aucune réponse possible par retour de ces courriels (no replay). J'ai transmis un courriel de confirmation sur le site du resto qui n'a probablement pas été lu...J'ai reçu un autre courriel (no replay) de confirmer ma réservation. J'ai dû alors téléphoner pour confirmer....un peu lourd comme système. On devrait plutôt nous téléphoner pour confirmer la réservation.
Mais le souper était plus que parfait. Merci d'en prendre note.

My boyfriend & I really enjoyed our dinner at Chez Rioux & Pettigrew. I liked the cozy decor, the dividers between the table gave us privacy while still being a part of the buzzing atmosphere. But the true stand out was the 5 course chef's menu. Each dish was curated perfectly, layers of flavours, complimentary & mouth-wateringly delicious. It was such a wonderful experience, great service & the perfect way to end our road trip to Quebec City. Merci beaucoup for the perfect dinner!

Un Boudin Maison & un gâteau au ChocolatKalamata ( olives noires grecques) tout simplement à tomber par terre, le tout avec un accueil & un service simple mais parfaitement professionnel dans un cadre simple mais plein de charme !!! Bravo !
