AFFAMÉS D’HISTOIRE?

Le 160, rue Saint-Paul s’est toujours avéré un lieu où les ingrédients et le service de qualité supérieurs font la loi. Fondé en 1860 par Narcisse Rioux, le magasin général Chez Rioux & Pettigrew fournissait aux restaurateurs, aux épiciers, aux hôpitaux et aux communautés religieuses une grande variété de produits locaux ou d’importation.

Barils de mélasse, poches de farine, sucre, gruau, fruits et légumes en conserves, épices, noix, raisins secs, chocolat, bonbons présentés sur des étalages… On y trouvait même de l’alcool jusqu’à la création de la Commission des liqueurs en 1921!

Top-notch service in this effortlessly classy yet relaxed establishment. The unique touch of passing through the kitchen en route to our table added to the experience. Opting for the brunch, a delightful array of sweet & savory dishes awaited, & every bite was a winner. Without a doubt, I'd wholeheartedly recommend this place-100%.

C'était excellent, une très belle expérience. Je ne sais pas si cela vient du charbon activé mais j'ai été attaqué d'une série de violents pets nocturnes... ma conjointe ne veut plus que j'en consomme.

Exceptional experience! Coming from Montreal I often have high expectations when eating out. This checked off all the boxes! Tucked away in old Quebec, super cozy & quaint, we had a wonderful waitress accompanied by delicious culinary experience from start to finish. We had a hard time deciding what to eat but finally went with the tasting menu... & we were in no way disappointed. Unfortunately I couldn't do the wine pairing because I'm pregnant but I'm sure it would have been exceptional as well. Would highly recommend ❤️

The quality of the food is very good. However, I feel they are trying too hard to do odd combinations. Each component stand alone of my dish was flavorful, but combined they didn't really meld.
