AFFAMÉS D’HISTOIRE?

Le 160, rue Saint-Paul s’est toujours avéré un lieu où les ingrédients et le service de qualité supérieurs font la loi. Fondé en 1860 par Narcisse Rioux, le magasin général Chez Rioux & Pettigrew fournissait aux restaurateurs, aux épiciers, aux hôpitaux et aux communautés religieuses une grande variété de produits locaux ou d’importation.

Barils de mélasse, poches de farine, sucre, gruau, fruits et légumes en conserves, épices, noix, raisins secs, chocolat, bonbons présentés sur des étalages… On y trouvait même de l’alcool jusqu’à la création de la Commission des liqueurs en 1921!

Absolutely the best experience! Without hesitation, do the blind tasting + wine pairing-- it was top-notch! The service was unmatched, especially since they discovered I was celebrating my 40th Birthday & the staff made it very special.

This restaurant is deserving of all its praise & recognition. My wife & I enjoyed the tasting menu experience, four delicious, creative, surprising dishes. The recommended cocktail & wine pairings were perfect. Outstanding service from every member of the team. A truly wonderful evening in a relaxed, yet comfortably elegant environment.

What a fantastic & magical discovery this restaurant was for us, on a short trip to QC. Truly marvelous people, ambiance & food. Highly recommend this restaurant for people visiting QC & looking for a destination off of'the hill.' The walk is charming & though steep, not too long.

My family & I (8 people total) had a delightful dinner at Chez Rioux & Pettigrew. I'm a vegetarian, & had an amazing pasta dish. Our server Juan was extremely helpful at matching wines with our food, & directed us towards wines that we normally wouldn't have known about. It was my favorite meal in Quebec.

Nous avons réservé la salle porcelaine pour un brunch festif à l'occasion d'un 18e anniversaire. La nourriture était vraiment délicieuse. Nous avons eu un service exceptionnel du début à la fin. Que ce soit pour la réservation & la planification, ainsi que le service sur place avec Alexis. Pour un événement clé en mains sans tracas, délicieux & dans un décor magnifique, je recommande fortement!

Sûrement l'un des meilleurs restaurants de l'ambassade ville.
Nourriture excellente, ambiance exceptionnelle, servie incroyable. Si Benoit & Théo s'occupent de vous, vous allez passer un merveilleux moment.
Nous reviendrons manger un soir pour tester les menus à l'aveugle.
