Our concierge at Hotel des Coutellier recommended we come here for a later afternoon meal. We'd traveled from Maryland & were very hungry. Chez Victor did not disappoint! The atmosphere was homey & lovely & the service was quick & friendly. We enjoyed some local beers & got delicious burgers. The server even gave us a free side of poutine, which was the first time we'd had it-delicious! I could have eaten here many more times, but we had so many other restaurants to try in Quebec. We will definitely come back here if we have the opportunity to visit Quebec City again!
J'ai pris la lohtine régulière. Pour un homme de 1m72 & 110kg, c'est un peu juste comme portion. Mes collègues ont pris divers burgers qui étaient très gros & semblaient pas mal bons. L'ambiance est cozy & agréable, le service était bon & sympathique.
Les budgets débutent à 20$ pour les burger. Ma poutine régulière a coûté 14.50$

Really loved the vegan burger! Seitan & lentil patty was amazing highly recommend restaurant to vegans as they have many options Portions were also generous & staff is very friendly
Below mediocre. The fries were inedible for my taste. If you've tried authentic (Belgian) French fries - you'd understand my point. Burgers - also rather unimpressive. Not many sauce options. The waitress forgot almost everything we ordered, repeatedly, which wouldn't have bothered me if the food was decent enough.
"Quand on voyage, on se renseigne" : c'est la remarque à laquelle j'ai eu droit de la part de la serveuse, alors que je la vois partir avec mes sous sans me ramener la monnaie car "c'est pour le service". J'avoue, en tant que touriste européenne fraîchement arrivée, je pensais que "TPS" signifiait "tips" & était inclus dans l'addition mais 1) la façon de me faire comprendre mon erreur aurait pu être + aimable, & 2) il me semble que le consommateur est encore en droit de décider du montant du pourboire en question, non ? Bref, je subissais un énorme jetlag & n'avais rien mangé depuis 24h, je n'ai pas discuté, j'ai fini par lui laisser la monnaie qu'elle voulait prendre (mais bon, 5 dollars pour un burger à 20 dollars, tout de même) & suis partie un peu amère. Je comprends bien que vous devez parfois être agacés du manque de savoir des touristes face à votre culture du pourboire mais, si je puis me permettre, vous êtes quand même l'un des premiers établissements qu'on rencontre lorsqu'on sort de la gare & qu'on va vers la vieille ville. Donc, il faudrait peut-être en tenir compte dans vos propos & votre attitude face aux clients un peu perdus/fatigués comme moi... Sinon, le burger était très bon !
Had the vegan burger. I'm a vegan so I've tried a lot of burgers. This one was average, thats's why the 3 stars. Considering the price, they could've definitely incremented this burger better. It was very simple & the patty was almost creamy, weird texture. The picles there roughly cut, one of them was a few inches thick, too thick. The vegan mayo is interesting, tastes like indian food. I'd come here if you don't have any other option. But if you have another option I would try that. Anyways, service was great & the restaurant is very beautiful. It was a Monday evening so the restaurant wasn't full & my burger arrived in literally 5 minutes!
J'ai mange le burger La Bête, avec Boeuf AAA, cheddar fort, confiture de bacon & Jack Daniels. Simplement délicieux! Viande de qualité, le pain brioché lèger; tres bon fromage, la mayo aussi! Vraiment bon!
