About

Ciccio Café presents a refined culinary approach centered on authentic Italian traditions combined with fresh seafood and flame-grilled specialties. The menu highlights house-made pastas tossed in robust sauces alongside premium cuts of meat prepared over an open flame to ensure a distinct charred finish. Seasonal fish selections arrive daily, offering a rotating variety of oceanic flavors prepared with minimalist seasonings to preserve natural integrity. The kitchen prioritizes high-quality imported ingredients paired with local produce to construct balanced flavor profiles across all courses. Guests encounter an atmosphere defined by industrial lighting and functional decor that emphasizes a focus on the plate. This establishment functions as a direct venue for those seeking prepared proteins and expertly executed starch-based dishes in a structured, professional setting that avoids unnecessary embellishments or extraneous culinary flair.

Review Summary

Ciccio Café is widely regarded as a charming, intimate destination that offers an authentic Italian dining experience away from the typical tourist crowds. Many patrons praise the restaurant for its high-quality, flavorful pasta dishes and generous portions, often highlighting the warm atmosphere and professional, attentive service. While the majority of guests consider it a local gem with excellent value, some recent experiences have noted inconsistencies in wait times, occasional issues with ingredient preparation, and discrepancies between advertised menu prices and the final bill. Despite these mixed remarks, the establishment remains a preferred choice for those seeking a tranquil, homemade meal in a welcoming setting.

We ordered pasta which was great & the mousse trois chocolate cake which took us straight to heaven, so so good. Rosetta served us so well :)

Really enjoyed our dinner here! It's a little farther away from Old Quebec (but still easy to get to), so it feels a lot more local & not as touristy. We called the night before to make a reservation - would recommend this as the restaurant isn't particularly big, & was full when we were there on a Saturday night. We ordered from the table d'hôte set menu - escargot with pernod & puff pastry, vegetable soup, cannelloni, & cheesecake. We also ordered a veal scaloppine with mustard & green pepper sauce which comes with pasta. Everything was super tasty, we particularly liked the escargot, veal & cannelloni. Portion sizes are quite large, & food comes out quickly. Great service as well!

This is our 2nd visit & I'll be reserving a table for July. We love this place so much that on our 2nd visit, I ordered the same dish again & my wife did the same. The Scaloppine Parmigiana is amazing! We're going to try to order something off the Pasta menu next. Thank you! Spumoni was perfect ending!

Everything was great except the underwhelming pasta. 10 small tortelini covered in a huge amount of bland sauce for 24$ Girlfriend's pasta had a lot more but tasted like a frozen dish too. I'm kinda surprised after reading the positive reviews on here.
