My wife & I went for dinner here on Aug 24 2026 after arriving into Old Quebec after a 9hr drive. They were very accommodating & sat us right away. Our server (I think his name was Max) was great.
I had the Quebec ribs (with fries), & I didn't realize it was a full rack but I was not disappointed & glad it was. They were fall off the bone & the sauce was fantastic. I also had 2 beers.
My wife had the Fettuccini & she also said it was great. She had 2 glasses of the house wine with her dinner.
We both left very satisfied. I would recommend this place. Don't be discouraged if you think it looks to'posh'.
La comida estaba rica y el sitio era agradable. Sin embargo, cuando fuimos a pagar y decidimos no incluir propina ya que el precio nos pareció algo excesivo, el camarero nos dijo que no, y marcó él en el TPV el importe correspondiente a la propina. Entendemos que es frecuente la propina en este país pero no es obligatorio, así que de ningún modo puede ser que el camarero nos obligue a pagarla. El resto del personal fue agradable.
A beautiful atmosphere with modern fixtures & artsy exposed brick. Exceptional, unrushed service. The veal medallions & beef bourgignon were melt in the mouth delicious.
There's someone outside trying to talk you into eating her, not pushy.
Food was good except my veal parm was dry but the pasta was absolutly delicious. Everyone enjoyed their food.
I came here two nights in a row & both nights the food was absolutely delicious . The first night I had the veal with buttered noodles & it was quite delicious. I sat at the bar & my bartender listened gave me great advice & was very attentive.
The second night I returned we didn't get off to great start , the hostess asked me where I wanted to sit I went to sit at a table that was empty & another woman told her I couldn't sit at that table because it was reserved, the same table that sat empty the whole time I was there. The restaurant had a nice flow but there was about 3-4 tables open , I could understand if there was a line out the door. So they sat me at another table where I sat unattended without even a greeting until I flagged down what I believe was a manager who took my order . I guess this didn't sit well with the waitress that was supposed to be servicing my table, the only warmth or attentiveness I received was at the presentation of the check.
So I ordered the rack of lamb & it was absolutely fantastic perfectly cooked & quite delicious. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place. For me the service was inexcusable & I wouldn't return.
I don't think my waitress is a bad waitress, she just decided that she wasn't going to give me good, polite, efficient service.
Stopped in here last night for my five-year anniversary. Was welcomed in to have a drink at the bar, had an exceptional bartender. We laughed & came back for food. We were very welcome. The second time in assistant manager there is a top-notch guy. We had great service & was offered free drinks for anniversary & the food was excellent.
To the young owner I chatted with out side & at the bar you have a great establishment buddy.
I'll be back to sit with you & the'Don' one day haha
Locale molto carino che offre piatti buoni e di qualità nel centro di Quebec city. Abbiamo preso gamberi e un piatto di carne che erano buonissimi. Il personale è molto gentile e attento. Servizio abbastanza veloce. Lo consiglio!
