Dorsay British Pub – A door to history

Since 1987, Dorsay, like Le Gaulois since 1987, has been part of the landscape of Old Quebec. Founded by Marcel Veilleux and taken over in 2024 by his son Christian Veilleux, along with Lyne Blackburn and Marc-Olivier Germain, Dorsay continues the tradition of true British pubs: warmth, camaraderie, cold pints, and tasty dishes.

In the heart of Old Quebec, a stone's throw from the Château Frontenac, our gastro pub cuisine, created by chef Benoit Poliquin, celebrates local products: seafood chowder, bangers and mash, fish and chips, homemade blood sausage, London BBQ wings, and much more.

I stopped in to have a beer while my wife was shopping, about 4pm on Tuesday the 13th on June, I sat at the bar & the bartender was chatting with a server so I sat there waiting to get served, she chatted for about 4 mins, as I waited, she then started to fill classes with ice, about 12 glasses that were just sitting on the bar, a further 4 or 5 mins went by as I still waited, after another 2 mins I got up an left, all this time she was no more that 4 feet away from me, so if this type of service you are used to getting this is the bar for you, I personally will never be in or recommend this place to anyone, absolutly shocking non service.

Très belle ambiance, la bouffe était très bonne, la portion des entrées était plus grosse qu'on pensait ;) Le service était excellent. Bref, on a adoré notre souper. Je les recommandent.

Great food,menu is simple lots of sea food & vegan options,off course hamburgers are there ; very good ambiance,woodsy resto bar mix ,I recommend you reserve a table if you wanna eat

Notre groupe a été enchanté du D'Orsay. L'accueil a été extrêmement chaleureux, le service empressé & plus que courtois, les mets étaient de première, notamment les produits de la mer. Les boissons servies ont tout-à-fait répondu aux attentes.
Vraiment, le D'Orsay est un établissement de première classe que, non seulement je n'ai aucune hésitation à recommander fortement, mais en plus, qui gagne certainement à être découvert. Bravo à toute l'.équipe du D'Orsay.

We had a fabulous evening at the Pub d'Orsay! Great pub environment, really nice staff - arrived early for our reservation (recommended) & were seated early. Great selection of beers! A seafood paella with 24 mussels surrounding the bowl - wow, spectacular & very tasty. No hesitation whatsoever in recommending this pub as a great place to eat & enjoy a drink.
