Dorsay Pub Britannique – Une porte ouverte sur l’histoire
Depuis 1987, le Dorsay, tout comme Le Gaulois depuis 1987, fait partie du paysage du Vieux-Québec. Fondé par Marcel Veilleux et repris en 2024 par son fils Christian Veilleux, avec Lyne Blackburn et Marc-Olivier Germain, le Dorsay perpétue la tradition des vrais pubs britanniques : chaleur, camaraderie, pintes bien fraîches et plats savoureux.
Au cœur du Vieux-Québec, à deux pas du Château Frontenac, notre cuisine gastro pub, signée par le chef Benoit Poliquin, célèbre les produits locaux : chaudrée de fruits de mer, bangers and mash, fish and chips, boudin maison, ailes London BBQ et bien plus.

Le Dorsay Pub Britannique offre une ambiance pub britannique chaleureuse et animée au cœur du Vieux Québec, avec des portions généreuses et un menu qui met à l'honneur les plats réconfortants. Les avis mettent en valeur des moules fraîches, un fish and chips croustillant, une soupe à l'oignon riche et savoureuse, un bangers and mash copieux et une poutine délicieuse, le tout accompagné d'une vaste sélection de bières et de cocktails, tandis que l'atmosphère et le service attentif créent un cadre convivial propice au déjeuner, au dîner ou à l'heure heureuse et à une visite mémorable.
Food excellent. We had green veggies in Quebec not just root veggies. Husband had fried chicken & I had bangers & mash. Started soup of sweet potato just amazing
Highly recommended.
First night we stop for a beer & decided to have dinner.
We were pleasantly surprised with the quality & taste of the food.
Service was good & prices were fare for Quebec City.
Fish & chips was great & large portion, banger (one) & mashed was tasty with grilled vegetables.
We returned a 2nd time as they have Happy Hour from
4:00pm to 6:00pm

Highly recommend this pub! Service was friendly, & welcoming from the get go. We had a waiter & waitress check in on us regularly for drinks/just making sure things were okay. The wings are delicious! My partner got the sausage & mash, & said it had the best gravy he's ever had. Beers are good. The mocktail mojito just needed some sugar syrup + extra lime, but otherwise was good.
Been to a lot of pubs in my years. Was concerned because this is a very touristy area but this is some of the best food I've ever had anywhere. Great people & wonderful food. Would recommend
This place is our favorite! Rumyana is amazing & so kind & welcoming. Christian is a spectacular owner - best spot to spot for a drink (& come back again!)

Food was fabulous. Especially the dessert, Fig, Rum & Foie Gras cake. Our server, Nancy, was delightful. We will return the next time we visit Quebec City.
We had the best time! We went for dinner & returned to e next day for drinks! Rumyana provided us with recommendations & was an amazing staff - her personality shines! Thank you! We hope to return soon. The food is excellent & sets the stage for an elevated pub experience!

Absolutely loved my meal here. The mussels were incredibly fresh & flavorful, & the fish & chips were spot?on - crispy, golden, & perfectly seasoned. It felt like an authentic British classic with a French?Québécois twist. I enjoyed every single bite.
I used to go to this pub every time I visited Québec City, & it used to be perfect. Yesterday was the last time I went there, & even though the staff were very kind & caring, unfortunately the food didn't taste as good as before. I hope it was only for one night due to how busy it was.

I am a regular at this beautiful restaurant. This time over the weekend had lunch, & the service was really bad; the waiter was rude, but the food was okay, the calamari was not that great, & the oil tasted weird. Returned there the same night, excellent service, the onion soup, AMAZZZING, & the waiter's recommendation was a great choice. Lunch was below my expectations, supper was great
The food was ok but the service very slow, & the waiter during lunch time was little rude
Menu has changed from 2 years ago, the food & service was excellent at the time, & now, unfortunately lack of the service this will be a reason not to go back ! (Was there at lunch & supper ) location is great, right across our hotel, château Frontenac
Service was fast, & the place looked to be fine, but I do not recommend the fried calamari. It was overcooked (evidenced by the breading being burnt on most pieces, & some areas not being breaded at all), & it tasted rubbery. After taxes, it is a $24 letdown. Fired calamari has a risk of food poisoning if not done correctly, & me & & my friend felt like we have taken the risk.
