Excellent repas. Le service était aussi très bon. Notre serveur nous était sympathique & faisait de bonnes recommandations. Sans lui, nous n'aurions probablement pas essayé les délicieux oeufs de caille.

J'adore ce restaurant! Le menu semble simple, mais tellement de belles découvertes! Tes papilles gustatives vont se faire aller promis!! Mon incontournable: les oeufs de cailles!! Wow, impossible d'en prendre une seule fois!! Ambiance chaleureuse , service impeccable!! Je recommande!! Important de réserver, car les places sont limités!

As my tasting opinion,bowl with porc is relatively simple & good but I feel rather unbalanced to see the same shredded porc in the dumplings without added veggies or without any other ingredients that play good roles to be a dumpling. However, yakitori are as good as always, I recommend butabara & Tsukune with a glass of beer. 🍺 Perfect than ever. But miso soup taste so flat that need to be improved tasty more.

Highly recommend Hono Izakaya, the entire experience was top-notch. It is low-key, but the atmosphere & the service were exceptional. & as for the food...it was 5/5, they had a wide variety of options to choose from so we had a few small plates to try out & then had our main plates & we loved every single bite.

Wow, not my first time at Hono isakaya, but I remember it was very nice & oh my god, it still is wonderful. After covid pretty hard to be well served but wow, service & food were outstanding. I strongly recommend. & next time I will try the hono ramen just beside. & return again at hono isakaya. Don't miss you change to taste the flavor of japan in quebec city ;)

Loved my meal & experience here. The staff were great. They squeezed my family of 4 in at the bar without à reservation. Very attentive staff. Food was amazing, so good. They brought us the wrong curry but for no charge & zero hassle quickly brought us the correct one & let us keep the wrong one. 100% recommend. Oh! But don't get confused with the ramen place next door. I'm sure it's also delicious but we didn't try it.

Je recommande fortement cet endroit. Venant de Drummondville, nous sommes allés souper avant le FEQ le 4 juillet dernier & ce fut une super expérience (4 personnes). Benjamin, notre serveur, était super. Service courtois & agréable. Le reste de l'équipe était très gentil. Beau travail d'équipe. Nous avons sélectionné le menu choix du chef composé de plusieurs services. Nous avons été en mesure de goûter une bonne partie du menu, toujours à partager. Ce fut un réel délice! Bravo au chef! Coup de coeur général : oeufs de caille, dumplings au porc, la variété de poissons crus, brochette de saumon (wow, wow, wow!), & le poulet croustillant. Nous allons y retourner c'est certain! Merci!

Amazing food. Service was great. Table was a bit small but its understandable as the place get packed. Would definitely recommend!
