Excellent repas. Le service était aussi très bon. Notre serveur nous était sympathique & faisait de bonnes recommandations. Sans lui, nous n'aurions probablement pas essayé les délicieux oeufs de caille.

Très bon service, nourriture excellente! Yakitori de coeur de canard un peu trop cuit mais le reste était tellement excellent que ça vaut quand même le 5 étoiles Bravo !

The seating arrangements are a bit awkward - there's a good chance you will be seated at a communal table or at the bar. Most of the food was good (nothing showstopping) & it's cooked to order, but as a result it is quite slow. They waited until we were done with the first round to ask what else we wanted to order (it probably would have been best to ask when the first round was brought out, so that it would be ready when we were finished). Cocktails are small.

We visited Hono Izakaya last weekend & had an amazing time. We found the restaurant while looking for places that had both vegetarian & meat options. We got to the restaurant a little before the opening time & decided to walk around. By the time, we got to the restaurant, there was a line out the door, at the opening time. We decided to try our luck & were able to get seated, despite not having a reservation. I had the vegetarian shumai & the yuzu lemonade. The vegetarian shumai was one of the most delicious foods that I have had from restaurants, it melted in my mouth. The yuzu lemonade paired amazingly with the shumai, as it had a tangy taste. To top it all off, the service was impeccable. The people working at the restaurant constantly made sure that our needs were properly looked after. Water provided when the water jug was empty, drinks & food served in a surprisingly fast amount of time. Would definitely come back here when visiting Quebec City again.
