Iru Izakaya offers a vibrant Japanese-inspired dining experience that many patrons find memorable, frequently highlighting the warm atmosphere, beautiful decor, and high-quality sharing platters like the ribs, takoyaki, and karaage. While many guests praise the attentive, professional service and creative cocktail menu, opinions on the food remain mixed, with some diners celebrating the authentic and balanced flavors while others find certain main dishes, such as ramen or fried rice, to be lacking in consistency or value. The restaurant is generally viewed as a great spot for celebrations or group outings, though some visitors note that the volume can occasionally be quite high and that the pricing may feel steep for the portion sizes provided. Overall, the majority of customers appreciate the unique culinary journey and plan to return, suggesting that while the experience can vary, the restaurant remains a popular destination in Quebec.

Beautiful restaurant with great service & atmosphere. The ramen, however, was very mid. The broth was very bland & tasted like water (so were the noodles), which really killed the whole dish in my opinion. The toppings were delicious though.
We recently visited this restaurant & were immediately impressed by the warm ambiance & stylish presentation-clearly a place that pays attention to detail. The service was excellent: the staff were welcoming, attentive, & handled everything with professionalism, including when we raised concerns about our main dish.
The appetizer was enjoyable, though not exceptional. Unfortunately, the ramen left us disappointed-lacking in flavor & authenticity, to the point where neither of us could finish our meal. That said, we truly appreciated how graciously the staff received our feedback & took the dish back without hesitation.
Overall, it's a great spot for a casual evening out with friends, especially if you're looking for good service & a lively atmosphere. However, if you're hoping for a memorable dining experience centered around authentic flavors, it may not be the best choice.
