Wow, 🤩 three simple letters that says what I think.
I came here with my wife for breakfast & we will definitely come back next time we're in Old Quebec.
I asked for French soup & got it, even if it was too early for lunch... Delicious 😋
For breakfast we had Trout toast & Brunch plate... both tasted exquisite & were plentiful to start a day of city exploration.

My wife & I loved this charming restaurant. We had breakfast there 3 times. The food was very good at a reasonable price. The hostess was very accommodating & pleasant. She even brought our heavy suitcases up
a challenging stairway at the entrance. I can't say enough good things about the servers. Very professional offering excellent service. Every one of them was pleasant & friendly. I highly recommend this charming restaurant for so many reasons. We kept coming back since our initial experience was so good.

we had good diner & ok breakfasts. they suitably don't know how to make a black tea. brings it in a look warm water yuck we have to return its as wells the coffee very bad

La Buchette..is a fantastic restaurant in Quebec City..The breakfast is wonderful.. & all the servers are so courteous & friendly & made us feel right at home..We want to especially give a huge thank you to our servers … Rafael & Randy.. Thank you .. Hope to be able to come back soon..💕

The Trout Toast & Casserole for breakfast were amazing. The latte & Americano were wonderful & the wait staff was attentive. We're so glad we chose this place for our breakfast while ported in Quebec City.

We liked it.

We needed a place for lunch & planned on eating at 1640 Bistro next door. We arrived at 11:30 & they were serving breakfast only & it would have been another hour to serve lunch.

We walked next door to La Buchette & they were serving both breakfast & lunch. Perfect!

We got seated at a 2-top outside right away. Our server came by with water & menus right away.

I ordered the French Onion Soup & my wife ordered the Breakfast Casserole.

The food came out real fast. Less than 10 minutes.

The presentation of my soup was unlike I've ever had. Two slices of bread with melted cheese were served on the side. I ended up placing one of them in my soup, then cutting it up.

The soup had a decent flavor but it was only served somewhat warm - not hot. Not worth sending back, especially after I'd added the bread slice to it. I ate it all none the less.

My wife's casserole was large. The over medium eggs were perfectly done. The casserole ingredients were layered, so it was a bit of a dig to find it all. The flavors were good. If there was a con, it would be there was too much sausage & not enough bacon.

Service here was quite pleasant. We decided to order a coffee & soft drink after our meal to hang out here a bit longer before our bus tour started.

We'd come back to La Buchette. In fact, tomorrow night, we have reservations for La Buche, a fine dining dinner restaurant within the same ownership group.

Would rather 3.5 for food. Very simple & mediocre breakfast. Service was great.

Such a delicious meal, & wonderful service. Great with little kids, but still high end food. The kids burger was so good, we got one as adults to share. Would definitely come back, I wish we went back for breakfast but we were still full from dinner.
