EXCELLENT! Sevice was terrific, Joe was knowledgeable about the whole menu & made great recommendations. The food was amazing. I would recommend it all. Signature cocktails are a must have. Appetizer patially eaten in the picture. So good. Debating breakfast here.

Amazing experience, food, ambiance, conversation, the works! My partner & I came to Quebec City for seven days & dined / got drinks at La Buchette three times- we couldn't stop coming back! Bartenders Joe & Genevieve were personable & made us feel right at home. They also make a great cocktail! Merci, La Buchette for the amazing times. We will be back!

Ne soyez pas gêner par les places au bar & laissez-vous tenter! 👌 Des cocktails servies par Jo accompagnés de la personne charismatique qu'il est, en passant par les jokes de Chris, Charles, Randy, Félix, en continuant avec le service hors pair de Seb & les crêpes délicieusement réaliser par M-C, en n'oubliant pas la nourriture exquise (gros plus au carpacio de canard) préparée par une super équipe! On avait réservé dans un autre resto & on devait seulement y prendre l'apéro... Finalement, on a collé jusqu'à la fermeture! C'était une soirée plus-que-parfaite avec un staff INCROYABLE! Merci encore!
Breakfast was so good & service so excellent that we went back a second morning! We loved their unique creations & dining on the charming patio. Our group loved the Trout Toast, Casserole. Omelet & Toasted Brioche. Also the Mimosa was excellent & the manager, bartender made one of our party the best take on a Bloody Mary we've ever tasted, which isn't on their regular menu....we begged him to add it to their breakfast cocktail menu.

Ein sehr gutes Restaurant für einen schönen Abend. Gute Cocktails und eine kleine und gut gekochte Karte haben Spaß gemacht. Wir hatten als Hauptgang ein Bison Tomahawk mit Sauce Bearnaise und Spargel. Das Steak war auf den Punkt medium rare, sehr gut. Das Personal ist nett und zugewandt. Klare Empfehlung.
Amazing!! Great bartender last night with custom craft cocktails! This morning's breakfast for both my wife & I were amongst the best we had! I had the egg casserole & she had a cheese omelette 🙏
Could not say better things about this restaurant!! We came for breakfast, but ended up getting there too late (late risers) so we had the poutine & salad & decided to stay for the cocktails!! & OH! The cocktails! Our waiter, Chris, had just reconstructed the cocktail menu & it was impeccable! Highly recommend the La Buvette, perfect balance on a creative cocktail! The poutine is an elevated version of what you can get in Old Quebec City - definitely worth the stop to give it a try. The atmosphere, with its old world stone wall along the back, & lovely fireplace, the modern entryway with the hostess stand doorway, the antler chandeliers, which usually aren't my jam, but surprisingly work in this space, the modern alt/pop-rock playing on the speakers in the dining room, the basement bathroom, it's the perfect marriage of all this quaintness you'd expect & modern taste that is necessary to attract the most discerning clientele. MUST SEE in Quebec City! Hot tip: Request Chris as your waiter! Ask him to give you his recommendations of his faves in the city!
We decided to book La Buchette for our final dinner in Quebec. La Buchette absolutely did not disappoint as a grand finale vacation meal. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy & welcoming, the staff were very friendly, attentive, & conversational. Christopher was assisting us with our meal & was thorough with all of his descriptions of the foods & drinks we ordered. He & the rest of the staff took time to get to know us & make sure that everything we ordered was to our liking. We ordered the lion's mane mushrooms, the duck carpaccio, the bison tomahawk, & flambéed crepes for dessert. The dinner service was paced well & the presentations were beautiful. The mushrooms had an interestingly complex, savory flavor, the bison was cooked perfectly tender, there was no need for a serrated knife. The crepes were an experience in themselves, flambéed table side with maple ice cream on the side. The cocktails were creative & all had a little bit of local flair with the choice of ingredients. I would absolutely recommend La Buchette to anyone looking to have a delicious & elevated dining experience with the local flavors of Quebec. If I lived in the area, I could easily see myself being a regular for a delightful weekend meal.
