5/5 Stars! We had an absolutely delightful dinner experience at La Buchette! This charming restaurant exceeded our expectations in every way. The atmosphere was warm & inviting, & the staff were incredibly friendly & accommodating - especially with our kid! The menu offered a great selection of French-inspired dishes that catered to both adults & children. The standout dishes for us were the French onion soup (rich, flavorful, & perfectly caramelized) & the cheese fondue ( creamy, indulgent, & utterly addictive). The cocktails were also expertly crafted & delicious! What truly made our evening special, however, was the exceptional service. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, & went above & beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. We can't wait to return to La Buchette & experience it all again! Highly, highly recommend for families, couples, & anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. Merci, La Buchette, for a truly unforgettable evening!"

Everything was amazing! Our server was very patient & kind with our family that speaks no French. The kids menu was very tasteful & the environment was great. Adult menu had the perfect amount of options & were very delicious. Can't wait to visit again.

This is a MUST GO place!!! My family & I were vacationing here for over a week & we stumbled upon this restaurant. French Onion Soup is my FAVORITE soup of all time. I had it at every establishment we went to the entire time we were there. This restaurant had THE BEST, HOMEMADE FRENCH ONION SOUP I've ever had in MY LIFE!!!! OMG!!!! THE BEST!!!! Plus the cheese plate was Fantastic, the service was impeccable & flawless & this is an experience you MUST have! The Waugh Burger was delicious, the Rigatoni was divine & the drinks were satisfying!!!!

We were walking around in a snowy day, looking for another place, & ended up in this beautiful place. The Bruch plate in my picture was out of choice, & it was THE BEST. The think omelet with cheese. The meats were deliciously presented & tasty, the duck & the smoked trout, the sausage & the maple bacon, the toasted bread with butter, the hash brown, the salad with a nicely prepared nivagre, the French toast with the fruits & a sugary sauce on top... everything on its own & separated is a wow momment after the other. The atmosfere, with the jazz music & the decoration, the naked brick walls, the wooden texture in many spots. & my hot chocolate was like i do in the office, wipped cream & cinnamon added too, without asking or knowing. This is a cozy place you want to come back & recommend for sure.

Dining at this French restaurant feels like stepping into a storybook! The enchanting atmosphere is adorned with twinkling lights & delicate decor. Each dish is a work of art, bursting with flavours that dance in the mouth.

Food was good. French onion soup was outstanding. Service was a little slow but not bad. One major negative that detracted from the experience. dessert was described as Cocolate Cake with Gnache. Instead they brought out a cake in a aluminum tin with a plastic cover that is available at grocery stores. See photo. Charged $14 Canadian that is available for 6 in grocery stores. A rip off & not as described. Regret not sending it back.

We ate here for breakfast & it was amazing! We had the French toast & the eggs with bacon. Bacon was great (kind of like million dollar bacon), & the fruits & sauce on the French toast was very delicious. It was also cooked perfectly. It's also a nice atmosphere, across from the fairmount hotel.
