Very disappointing experience at Le Bistro inside the Delta Hotels by Marriott Quebec.

My son went to breakfast on crutches & did not realize the breakfast buffet was paid .The staff treated him like an adult at first - they seated him, served him coffee, & let him get food from the buffet. One staff member even seemed hesitant to help him because he was on crutches, which already made the experience uncomfortable.

The real problem started when it was time to pay. My son did not have money with him & tried explaining that he needed to contact me, the adult staying at the hotel. Unfortunately, the staff member did not seem to understand him well & kept bringing the bill to whatever table he moved to instead of trying to help resolve the situation calmly. Eventually the manager got involved & they called me while I was asleep.

Since I needed to take my dog outside, my younger son - who is two years younger - went to help & paid with his credit card. He also did not know the breakfast cost extra. After he got food, the staff suddenly became very rude because he was'a minor' & said minors could not eat without a parent present. Strange considering my older son was also a minor, but apparently that only became a problem after payment issues came up.

In the end, both of my sons were kicked out. The food itself was fine, but the way the situation was handled showed very little patience, consistency, or understanding toward two kids who were genuinely confused about the breakfast policy.

Tried to have breakfast here. They throw everyone in the back while leaving the front open. Noisy & the service was terrible. After 10 minutes we could enjoy black coffee, not even cream or sugar.

Nous sommes allés souper là bas un soir & la nourriture était absolument délicieuse.Les prix sont très raisonnable pour la portion que vous obtenez & le service était excellent!Les serveurs viennent nous voir fréquemment,le service est rapide & efficace.Je recommande définitivement se bistro,j'ai pris une bavette de veau avec frites.Le veau était parfaitement cuit & bien assaisonné,les frites était aussi super bonne.Pour référence,mon plat était 36$.

The restaurant has very good service. It is a large restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere, but as you can see in the photo, the food is served in a rather careless way. The flavor is a bit bland, without a well-defined taste. Overall, the restaurant was fine, but if you go to eat, the food should be the highlight, & in this case, it is not.
Another observation is that during holiday periods & peak seasons, the restaurant should not accept tables of more than 6 people, as the rest of the guests do not feel properly attended. The restaurant became very noisy, & on three different occasions when I visited, there were two tables of 6 people each, seemingly from the same families. It felt as if I were inside someone else's private party, which was genuinely uncomfortable.

Went for breakfast while staying at the hotel, had the buffet with 3 kids. Food was average to subpar, ie scrambled eggs were lifeless but passable but the bacon was a tasteless stickl. Drip coffee was terrible. All for 28$ or 11$ for kids.

Don't go here for buffet breakfast.

Une très belle surprise ce matin ! Le service est irréprochable, souriant & attentionné. J'ai été accueillie avec beaucoup de gentillesse & je me suis tout de suite sentie à l'aise. Merci à Maxime & Anne Marie pour votre sourire.

Le petit-déjeuner était tout simplement délicieux : oeufs brouillés bien crémeux, bacon croustillant, pommes de terre parfaitement dorées, sans oublier le bol de yaourt avec granola & fruits rouges, un vrai régal & bien d'autres choix ! Mention spéciale pour le café latte, servi avec soin & aussi beau que bon. Le tout avec une superbe vue & une ambiance calme & agréable.

Merci pour ce moment très agréable, je reviendrai avec plaisir !

Nous y avons dîner 2 soirs lors de notre séjour dans l'hôtel. Le serveur Mavrik a été très accueillant & très sympa, très prévenant avec nos enfants (11 & 14 ans), & a été de super conseil pour nos visites de la ville !
Baptiste a également été très gentil & prévenant. Les repas sont copieux & bons, même si le choix n'est pas très large, cela était parfait

Nous avons attendu à l'entrée pour être placés, mais personne ne semblait prêter attention à nous. Finalement, nous sommes entrés & avons remarqué qu'il n'y avait qu'une seule employée, qui faisait à la fois barmaid & serveuse. Elle nous a fait un geste de la main pour demander si nous souhaitions manger, & lorsque nous avons acquiescé, elle nous a simplement indiqué une table.

Elle est venue quelques minutes plus tard, mais elle ne semblait pas totalement au courant des ingrédients des plats. La nourriture est arrivée assez rapidement & était bonne dans l'ensemble. Cependant, le poulet du club sandwich était sec & manquait de saveur. Heureusement, le pain grillé était parfaitement croustillant, ce qui était très agréable. Le steak de chou-fleur était correct & la présentation soignée, avec des ingrédients frais.

Peut-être qu'ils étaient en sous-staff, mais l'ambiance donnait vraiment l'impression que nous étions invisibles, alors que le restaurant n'était même pas occupé.

2e fois pour nous a ce resto. Les deux fois malheureusement, la nourriture n'étais pas super. Nous avons reçu notre facture avant d'avoir les desserts des enfants qui étaient compris dans leur choix de menu. La serveuse est seule & semble débordée donc le service est médiocre, nous devons aller chercher ce l'eau nous même. Pour le prix, nous aurions dû sortir de l'hotel pour aller manger.
