The taste was rather bland as well. The service was very poor. The staff all seemed annoyed & in a bad mood. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it.
The staff weas friendly & provided great service,. I especially liked that you can customize your own crepe with different fillings. However, the buckwheat crepe itself did not taste good-it had a bitter flavor & was much worse than buckwheat crepes I've had at other places.
I ordered roast beef & spinach as the fillings, & I noticed other customers ordered the same combination. I felt the same way they seemed to: the fillings were quite disappointing. They were bland & lacked flavor. Overall, I did not enjoy this meal & thought it was not very tasty.
I feel so bad giving a negative review, service was great but the crepes just were not good. The buckwheat crepe batter was bad & the regular batter was just okay. Coffee not great either, seating uncomfortable. I would skip this place. Much better options nearby.
I chose the number 6. I think it was a wholesome choice with buckwheat but the crepe was on the bland side. I would go for something spicier next time.
Ok…so mixed feelings about this place. It was very cozy, friendly staff. The hot chocolate was pretty good. I ordered the buckwheat crepe (turkey ham & egg)…never saw the egg, & it was pretty bad. Full disclosure, the server did tell me the buckwheat was different & not everyone likes it but I decided to try it…that is on me. Stick to the flour crepe & it should be fine. Still, a good experience overall.
Seemed like a nice place, but tge crepe were awful. The buckwheat kne tasted like dry cardboard & the wheat flour one was rubbery & pale.
Quite mid tbh. Went here for breakfast on a Monday morning around 9. Perhaps because it's located on a touristy street, the atmosphere here was more modernish than i expected, playing pop songs in the background.
I like how they let you byo crepe so that you can have all the ingredients you like. I got a buckwheat crepe with spinach, mushrooms, bell peppers, asparagus, raiser beef, & pesto sauce. The portion was okay, though I expected it to be more filling than it had.
The taste of the buckwheat crepe was mid, not giving out a lot of flavor, & its texture was more rough than another one I had in another crepe restaurant (which I liked better). The veggies fillings were just fine, nothing special, & the roast beef also lack in flavor & seasoning, making the entirety of the dish tasted kinda dry & bland.
Overall just a OK restaurant, nothing outstanding. Personally wouldn't return.
I'd say if you're really looking for a NICE & DECENT crepe restaurant, try other places (e.g. Le Billig) that's more authentic!
Delicious stop! We split a savory crepe & a sweet crepe. Both were great. The savory was Choix #7 (Bacon, fresh spinach, tomatoes goat cheese, basil pesto). Sweet was strawberries & bananas with a maple syrup drizzle. Both with flour. I wish we had tried the buckwheat out of curiosity. Chai latte was also good -lots of cinnamon, a little less cream/milk than I am used to but had a good flavor.
Never had a savory crepe as a meal before. Loved it. Roast beef, caramelized onion, & swiss cheese blended perfectly with buckwheat crepe.
