Quite mid tbh. Went here for breakfast on a Monday morning around 9. Perhaps because it's located on a touristy street, the atmosphere here was more modernish than i expected, playing pop songs in the background.
I like how they let you byo crepe so that you can have all the ingredients you like. I got a buckwheat crepe with spinach, mushrooms, bell peppers, asparagus, raiser beef, & pesto sauce. The portion was okay, though I expected it to be more filling than it had.
The taste of the buckwheat crepe was mid, not giving out a lot of flavor, & its texture was more rough than another one I had in another crepe restaurant (which I liked better). The veggies fillings were just fine, nothing special, & the roast beef also lack in flavor & seasoning, making the entirety of the dish tasted kinda dry & bland.
Overall just a OK restaurant, nothing outstanding. Personally wouldn't return.
I'd say if you're really looking for a NICE & DECENT crepe restaurant, try other places (e.g. Le Billig) that's more authentic!
Delicious stop! We split a savory crepe & a sweet crepe. Both were great. The savory was Choix #7 (Bacon, fresh spinach, tomatoes goat cheese, basil pesto). Sweet was strawberries & bananas with a maple syrup drizzle. Both with flour. I wish we had tried the buckwheat out of curiosity. Chai latte was also good -lots of cinnamon, a little less cream/milk than I am used to but had a good flavor.
Never had a savory crepe as a meal before. Loved it. Roast beef, caramelized onion, & swiss cheese blended perfectly with buckwheat crepe.
Good service, nice atmosphere but the pancakes a bit hit & miss. Kids enjoyed theirs with regular flour. Ours with buckwheat looked & frankly tasted rather dry & cardboard-like. Insides were ok, but outsides were not great. Not bad value overall. We love crepes, but have eaten a lot better…
Absolutely incredible crepes! While traveling through Canada, I stumbled upon this charming creperie & was blown away. The buckwheat crepes were perfectly crisp on the outside & soft inside-authentic, flavorful, & clearly made with care. I tried both a savory crepe & a sweet one topped with fresh strawberries, & they were both phenomenal. The plating was beautiful, the ingredients were fresh, & everything tasted homemade. Bonus points for the cozy stone wall interior & friendly service. One of the best meals of my trip-highly recommend!
The service is great & most of the food as well, I recommend they look into a better buckwheat pancake recipe.
In terms of atmosphere, the overall is great but the staff were openly talking about subjects no customers want to hear during breakfast.
Crepes were ok, but the buckwheat was a little overcooked & stiff. Service & decor were great tho!
Great place to have a true crepe experience whether savoury or sweet. The sugar, custard & Chantilly cream was sooooo yummy. Buckwheat crepes too. ⭐?
was super excited to hear there was a vegan crepe in quebec city, & it did not disappoint! i had the buckwheat crepe with strawberries & maple butter as well as a hot chocolate with soy milk, & it was an amazing meal. only wish that there was a separate vegan menu or markings because you have to ask! i wish i lived in quebec city so i could eat here more often. so good!
