Les crêpes salées sont délicieuses, l'accueil est agréable & le lieu légendaire!
Savory crepes were ok but not that special or must try. I found it just so so. Quite filling up & I can't finish the whole crepe. Small place but cozy, & you can see the chef making crepes. Decent price. Quick service.
In old Quebec City, I feel like I'm in early modern France. Le Casse-Crepe Breton fits this old image. Inside is not large, & you may have to wait in the queue outside. But it's worth it, especially if you love crepes the way I do. Don't skip it when you are in Quebec City.
Our friend recommended this place to us & it was worth the wait to enter! We had a few minutes to wait before entering as it was very busy! The space at the bar was a little tight but was well worth it as it let us watch the chefs in action! It was a wonderful experience to see! Our servers were excellent, friendly, attentive! The crepes were delicious & good portion. Our morning hot chocolate with a hint of baileys was fantastic. Would definitely come here again !
Des crêpes oui mais pas bretonnes Double épaisseur de pâte inutile Ingrédients de piètre qualité A éviter.
I forgot which flavor I ordered, but it contained mushroom & mozzarella cheese so it was L' omelette maybe? & the sweet one was customized, I remember we asked for strawberry & homemade apple sauce. & one each of buckwheat & plain crepe. Actually, I was not really like the buckwheat one, because the fiber texture was too apparent to me. The plain crepe was better. It was my personal opinion, & I believe buckwheat one must be loved by others. Regarding the flavor, the savory one & sweet one were both ordinary, it wouldn't give you surprise but wouldn't let you down as well. Although the crepe was not make me feel amazing, it was a good restaurant for enjoying the environment!! I think the key was not for appetite, it was for curing homesickness💛
I ate here three times on my trip! Great options of sweet & savoury crepes. Service can be a little patchy but everyone who works there is very friendly & the food is worth it!! Also Gluten free crepes - the dream!
These crepes are as good as the best crepes I had in France. We make sure we stop there every time we go to Quebec City. I recommend going with the regular instead of buckwheat crepe & to try the savoury options as well. Wonderful place that is worth the wait.
