We enjoyed a charming street view from our table. Overall, a great find featured on TV, & we're looking forward to returning. Highly recommended!
Went here to get a salad like an absolutely insane person so I don't know if the crepes are any good. Good customer service & tasty food & drinks. The restaurant is claustrophobic in my opinion because of the old building having limited seating space. Very good for a little bite to eat before continuing exploring the city.
Went there for dessert after dinner. The place was dirty at the first glance. We ordered 2 basic sweet crepes (strawberry & wipe cream + chocolate & banana). You would not believe how disappointed we were after tasting our first bit. The crepes were hard & dry ...May be that's the reason why they provide steak knifes instead of dessert or fruit knifes... Definitely not recommend & won't go back.
We went for a late breakfast/early lunch with a larger party of 7 adults & a 2 year old. We had a mix of savory & sweet crepes & all were fantastic. The waitresses we had were great with bringing things for our young one to color & they also were just fantastic overall. Really cute atmosphere as it was raining outside but had the window open so felt cozy. Served coffee & had milk for our son. Overall would highly recommend for crepes! Great folks.
Our first taste of Quebec City was at this spectacular gem of a creperie! If you are researching on Google you already know that they have an order of magnitude more reviews than the closest next. They were packed on a rainy Monday early afternoon when we walked in. Thankfully the wait was only a few minutes until one of the tables opened up. We being the food afficionados that we are, ordered more than we should have - one of the savory crepes for each of us, & half the number of dessert crepes than people. In hindsight was maybe just a tiny touch too much but pretty much on point. In the savory I loved my smoked ham concoction. In the dessert ones I loved the custard filled butter crepe. An Aperol spritz & a Brazilian coffee sealed the late lunch!
Had breakfast here: yoghurt with fruits, coffee & a crepe with vanilla sauce & sugar. Compared to my experiences in France & when I made pancakes myself I thought that the crepe was baked too long making it chewy & dry. Nice touch is that they bake the crepes in front of you on a large stove. No complaints about the yoghurt (sweetened) & fruit (fresh strawberries & banana). Service was quick & friendly.
Eat here only if not crowded & keep your expectations low... Unfortunately I read the reviews only after we had already waited 45 minutes for our order... To sum it up - The kitchen doesn't keep up with the rush hour. If it's around noon I'd skip the place. the crepes were OK, one was really good (#7) but the rest were just meh.
Fake whipped cream (Cool Whip which is corn syrup), fake maple syrup (artificially-flavored corn syrup) unless you pay for real maple syrup, fake hot chocolate (artificially-flavored, corn syrup solids in a powdered mix.) How do you call yourself a crepe restaurant in Quebec & serve artificially-flavored corn syrup as food? I gave two stars-one for the nice wait staff & one for the wine which was decent.
