Came here for breakfast & ordered the Eggs Benedict. The food was decent - not exceptional, but satisfying. Service was good & attentive, & the restaurant was clean & well maintained. Its downtown location makes it very easy to get to, especially if you're staying nearby, & it's nice that they have multiple locations around the city. If you're visiting for breakfast, I'd highly recommend trying the French toast.
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food in this long-established restaurant in the heart of Petit Champlain, Old Quebec.
The dishes were flavorful, generous in portion, & clearly prepared with care & tradition. The atmosphere is warm & inviting, with a charming old-world feel that fits perfectly with the historic surroundings. Service was attentive & friendly, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Good selections of local brews & wines too.
I highly recommend the maple grilled pork chop & their famous pot-en-pot-true comfort food that will warm your soul. A gem worth visiting when in Old Quebec.
Absolutely loved our experience at Cochon Dingue Rue Saint-Jean! The food was amazing-every dish was full of flavour & beautifully prepared. The service was friendly, attentive, & made us feel right at home. One thing that really stood out was the kids' menu-it's a full three-course meal, which is such a thoughtful touch & made our little ones feel just as special as the adults. The atmosphere is warm, lively, & perfect for families or a casual meal out. Overall, a fantastic dining experience. Highly recommend if you're in Quebec City!

Hands down, some of the best food I've had on my vacation! They use the freshest ingredients & make sure each dish is done the right way.
From appetizers to desserts, this restaurant exceeded all our expectations! Highly recommended!'
He helped me & talked with me perfectly in English.
I ordered pea soup, hot chicken & duck salad. The salad is very delicious, highly recommended. The hot chicken & soup are normal, I really regret nit ordering pork ribs.
I consider this to be my favorite restaurant in Québec. Service & interior design are very nice. More importantly the food came out quickly & was of excellent quality. I highly recommend the côte de porc & the pouding chômeur. Le boudin noir was also great.
I ordered the Philly-style cheesesteak, which came with a side of'au jus' & fries which I upgraded to poutine fries. The sandwich itself was decent, but the'au jus' was a huge letdown. It was a thick, overly peppery sauce with an odd sweetness that didn't pair well at all. If you're looking for something to dip your sandwich in, I'd highly recommend going for a French onion soup. My girlfriend ordered it, & once I used her soup as the dip, the cheesesteak was so much better. Unfortunately, the poutine didn't impress either-it lacked the richness & flavor you'd expect, making the overall meal fall short of expectations. Despite the food, the service was excellent. Philippe, our waiter, was attentive & friendly, which made the experience more enjoyable. Sadly, the meal itself just wasn't a culinary highlight.
Had breakfast here all 3 days in Quebec. The food is delicious & the staff is fantastic. We got the oatmeal with pecans & apple, goat cheese omelette with vegetables with brown bread, hot chocolate (regular & old fashioned) & the country duo on staff's recommendation. Every dish was incredible. They made every effort to accommodate preferences like getting the cappuccino after food, or replacing potatoes with fruits. Highly recommend to everyone, especially vegetarians in the area.
Our waitress Apsara was lovely & extremely efficient. The food was amazing, the service was prompt & our dining experience was that much better because of the staff. If youre in quebec city i highly recommend dining here. We had lobster eggs benedict & avocado toast. The food was delicious & came quickly & hot!
