We had the Onion soup , a perfect mix of layers, melted cheese on top of a soft toast, a generous amount of onions in the perfect broth. Then we had an amazing bisque with lobster, prawns & scalops in a delicious creamy sauce. Highly recommend!
Ate here on my trip to Quebec, very cheap for the great quality it has, highly recommend, especially for traveling
We went here at New Year's Eve! I ordered the duck but I liked the pork chop more, which my partner ordered. We ended up practically, switching food because she likes the duck more. :)) we both had IPA beers which pairs well with the food. We were with a couple of our friends & they ordered the ribs & pork chop. The ribs were delicious but I really would recommended the pork chop more. The service is also spot on. The place & the washroom are really clean & smell nice. I would definitely go back to eat here again.
I do not recommend this restaurant. Their policies are inadequate, & they fail to provide any meaningful accommodation for families.
For context seeing the owners reply (it was a sandwich for a child). Not a great policy, please do better in the future for others. If a sandwich will make your restaurant fail you have other issues to resolve.
After a long day wandering through the charming streets of Quartier Petit Champlain, the cold had settled into my bones. Even through my gloves, I could feel the crisp winter air biting at my fingers. The streets were alive with crowds - both locals & tourists - weaving through the cobblestone lanes, laughter echoing off the heritage buildings. I loved everything about Quebec City: its warmth, its beauty, & the way it seems to glow in the winter light.
On our way back to the hotel, my friend picked a restaurant known for its famous pork dishes - & they absolutely delivered. The pork chop arrived with a slight pinkish hue, perfectly cooked, tender, & unbelievably flavorful. It didn't taste like anything I'd ever had before. The beef tartare was just as impressive - fresh, vibrant, & beautifully balanced.
The place itself was buzzing. Stylish & full of energy, it attracted a mix of locals & travelers, yet everyone seemed to fit effortlessly into the ambience, like characters in a well-written novel. Even the restroom setup caught me by surprise - it was gender neutral, & for a moment, I thought I had wandered into the wrong side! 😋
The staff were friendly, professional, & impressively bilingual. Their upbeat energy kept the atmosphere lively, & my cocktail - only about $9 - was delicious & well made.
After a full day of exploring, we devoured every dish that came our way. Everything from the service to the setting to the food itself felt perfectly in sync. Highly, highly recommend! 🥰
WE LOVE IT! Came back twice during our trip to Quebec. Every time their service & food was top notch.
I highly recommend their Gourmand au Caramel Salé latte! The milk is so creamy & it's not overly sweet is just perfect balance.
They have a large selection of items in their menu so honestly anyone could find something they will like, even if you're vegetarian or have dietary restrictions.
They have an amazing system & you can tell! From the moment you arrive there's someone that will assign you to a table or will tell you the wait time depending on how crowded it is. & it doesn't matter how many people there are the food always gets to your table in a timely manner & your server is always looking out if you need something or making sure everything is good.
We came in for dinner, few adults & kids & also came back for breakfast on a different day
The atmosphere is very cozy
The service is super quick & the staff are very nice
There were kid friendly menu options that the kids seem to enjoy very much
Dinner 4/5
I ordered
Beef tartare which was fresh & well seasoned, also comes in a nice size portion
Ceaser salad with grilled chicken - the salad itself was nice ,I was a bit thrown off by the fact that the chicken was cold though but that might be just my personal preference
Washed it all down with the Bloody mary ( it has a different name on the menu but for the life of me I can't remember)- the cocktail comes with this bacon wrapped sosage that was very yummy , the tomato blend is tasty but was a bit light on the alcohol portion in my opinion
Breakfast/Brunch 5/5
We ordered different combos & everyone enjoyed everything!
I ordered
Eggs Benedict with duck confie , side of crispy bacon, side of crape & a Berry smoothie
The crape was delicious as is ,no need to even put maple on it
The eggs- perfectly made & I like that you can order 1 or 2 eggs. This allowed me to be able to taste more sides because ordered 1 egg.
The apple butter is delicious
The smoothie was super fresh as well
Very recommend for brunck/breakfast.Have some patiance, gets very bussy in the morning
We went for breakfast, & everything was fantastic. The crepes were amazing, & my chai latte was so flavourful I could taste the cinnamon & cardamom in every sip. Highly recommend.
