An experience that transports you back to the golden days of dining. Staff in white jackets with bow tires & impeccable manners. The food was well prepared. The service very attentive.

What a wonderful dining experience! The scallops were huge, cooked perfectly & the edible floral touches were delicate & lovely. Duck a l'orange, peppercorn steak & pernod pears were flambeed at our table by our energetic, humourous & attentive waiter. The Maitre D was flexible & accomodating of our party of 15. Le Continental was a great venue for our celebration & the culinary highlight of our weekend in Quebec CIty!

Two years ago, pre-COVID, I had a memorable dinner (in a very good way!) at this restaurant. Earlier this week, while the staff were professional & attentive, & the table side preparation of some dishes was at its usual high standard, what came from the kitchen included a couple of disappointments for our group. Worth another try, as it remains one of the best, if not THE, best, restaurants in the Old Town, in my opinion.

5-star in every aspect.

Food was simply superb. From the Beef Carpacio to the Ceasar Salad made tableside, our appetizers were delicious. In addition, the Chateaubriand for 2 was cooked to a perfect medium rare & tasted wonderful with their bearnaise sauce. As for dessert, the poires pernod are a must.

Our waiter was attentive to our needs & always close by. They even accommodate people with gluten intolerance (celiac)

I would go back in a heart beat
