My husband took me to Quebec 5 days for my bday & we went here last night- great food & ambiance! Veal osso bucco was incredible! Great cheesecake for dessert!

Un souper plus que parfait pour l'anniversaire de mon fils. Le professionnalisme, l'accueil courtois & que dire des plats que nous avons choisis, quelle expérience de voir cuire les aliments devant nous. Tout était plus que parfait du plat principal au dessert, je recommande fortement & j'y retourne assurément pour essayer d'autres plats. Bravo à toute l'équipe !!

My fiancé & I had an enchanted evening here celebrating my birthday. The tableside service was unique & impeccable, & the ambiance oozes old-world classic elegance. We had the Caesar salad, crab appetizer & the chateaubriand for two & everything was delicious.

We were absolutely stuffed by the end — too stuffed for dessert! Our waiter still brought us some raspberry sorbet with a birthday candle, which was such a sweet touch that I truly appreciated. All in all I felt very pampered & special & I will really treasure that memory. It's very expensive, but worth it for a special treat. One of these days we'll be back to try the sole meunière. :)

Love the smell & atmosphere. Love the service!
Seared Foie gras is phenomenal !
Escargot is so so!
Salmon is delicious without sauce. Lol
Duck for 2 is disappointing, below our expectation. First, the server brought us a cold duck, which made him hard to carve. We saw other tables' ducks were steam hot. Secondly, he put too much sauce when he flambéed the duck. Lastly, the duck is too sweat & tough for our taste buds.
Dessert & drinks are not bad.
Overall, experience is ok. But did not taste the real French cuisine we were expecting!

The waiter was stressed & we felt he did not have sufficient time to serve us at our table. Furthmore he was rude & not polite. We orderd two glasses of grand manier for our dessert without ice. He came to our table with two glasses with grand manier with ice. When we told him he got a bit angry & told that it was our fault because of my prenouncination. He went out & came back with the two same glasses without ice. I have never experienced such rude behaviour on a fine restaurant. He should not blame the guests in that situation. Very uprofessional. The food was excellent but i would not recommend your restaurant to others because of the waiter.

My parents have been frequent visitors to Le Continental for years & it was their one food recommendation when I told them we'd be visiting Quebec City. Having experienced Le Continental's exceptional service & delicious food for ourselves, we now understand why they go so often.

We started with the Ceasar salad which was made table side & is easily one of the best Ceasar salads I can recall. My wife & I had filet while my daughter went with the peppercorn sirloin which I think may have been even better than the filet. We also had mashed potatoes & creamed spinach for sides & I have to say that, of all things, the creamed spinach really stood out. It was delicious.

I'd like to say we our desserts were awesome too but we were so full from our meals that we had to pass on dessert.

I cannot say enough good things about our dinner experience at Le Continental & highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal in Quebec City.

Our dinner was simply magical. Francois was our waiter, & he was attentive & did a fantastic job cooking our steaks tableside. He also did a lovely job creating our dessert plates. The service at Le Continental is impeccable. We had flambé steaks, so those were prepared table side. Side dishes are brought out at the exact moment the steaks are ready, so everything is piping hot & delicious. We had eaten at Le Continental 29 years ago for our honeymoon & are thrilled that we were able to dine there on this visit. Fantastic experience for any special occasion.

I'd give this 4.5 if possible. The service was excellent & the steaks were too. It was very entertaining to have steak flambé table side. I had the filet mignon (flambé) the rest of the group had the beef Wellington. The steak was very good.
My only gripe was that I didn't think the crème brûlée was to the standard of the rest of the meal. It was good, not exquisite. Felt like it was made with vanilla extract not vanilla bean. Also I think the sugar crust was added in advance, so the entire dessert was cold.

Serveur tellement attentionné, nous avions des allergies à notre table & il a préparer un dessert qui n'était même pas sûr le menu pour notre table experience exceptionnel avec des serveurs remplie de repartie vraiment un incontournable
