What a wonderful trip to the past. Elegant dining, personalized table service & supurb food! Nicholas was wonderful. His Caesar salad & chateau briond presentation ere spot on. It was a rare treat in today's world.
We had an absolutely fabulous experience at Le Continental. The restaurant is old world classy with waiters in white coats. Many dishes are finished table side. We had Caesar salad made table side & it was delicious. The duck a l'orange was possibly the best we've ever had. Cherries jubilee flamed table side was heaven on a plate. Our friends' steak & veal dishes were also perfection. Service was exactly the right amount of attention. We can't wait to return.
Un restaurant unique à Québec ! Une institution en ville depuis 50 ans. C'est comme si vous alliez en France une soirée pour un classique Français incontournable à Québec. Ils cuisinent devant votre table, au guéridon. Ils servent les meilleurs escargots que j'ai mangés, la salade césar est tellement bonne, le filet mignon avec la sauce est incroyable, le homard (en saison) est probablement le meilleur que j'aie mangé. Pour une soirée mémorable, je vous recommande !

We felt welcomed from the moment we walked in. The host greeted us with genuine warmth! We began the evening with some light apps & a bottle of wine that was recommended by our waiter. He shared his recommendations & each & every one of them were exquisite! The table side preparations of meals were a very nice touch. It also provided some entertainment too! We had the lobster special & filet mignon & I would almost drive back up six hours (we're from Boston) to have this meal again! & the Caesar salad is an absolute must. Such a simple starter dish, but the flavoring is not like any Caesar I've had before! The staff were friendly, helpful, & welcoming . It's a bit on the pricey side but worth every $! If you had only one night to dine out, this place is a must. I highly recommend. One of the best dining experiences!
We went to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. The food was absolutely delicious. The Caesar salad made at our table was terrific & our steaks were cooked to perfection. The Crêpes Suzette & Brazilian coffees were icing on the cake. The service & ambiance were outstanding. A perfect way to enjoy a special night. As for the price it was not cheap but worth every penny.

Fantastic experience. All of the staff were incredibly welcoming & very professional. Lovely atmosphere too. The food & table side service were sensational. We had the Caesar salad, prepared freshly at the table, flambéed steaks & crêpes suzette. Not only was the food itself amazing, but so too was the flaming spectacle. Will definitely be back here next time I'm in town.
The best restaurant I've ever been to. The service was incredible, including the table side service. We didn't go more than 1 minute without fresh bread, water, or a drink refill. Our server was extremely knowledgeable & recommended great options. The lychee martini was amazing. Highly recommend the filet mignot & the orange duck. The seared foie Gras was also amazing. The tableside caesar salad was the best I've ever had! The sugar pie tasted authentic & was the perfect serving for 2. By far our favourite restaurant in Quebec City & we will definitely be back!
2024-04-18 We had ceasar salad, Chateaubriand for two & crepes suzette, all prepared at table side. Our server/chef/wine steward was a wonderful gentleman that provided excellent service in a relaxed, professional manner that added to this fine evening. From the moment we walked in the door, we were treated to the fine dining experience we were hoping for. Although pricey, as we expected, it was worth every penny.
David was our waiter & you were fortunate to have him as well as the rest of the staff. The Caesar salad is probably the best I ever had & the total experience was just wonderful. Kudos to you all.
