It's our 3rd time in this restaurant. Service exceeds expectations. We love the food & always book dinner every time we take a trip to Quebec City. Alberto is super friendly , funny, & very attentive. Thank you, Alberto, for the awesome evening. Hubby & I both had the caeser salad to share, peppercorn crusted steak & a boozy Brazilian coffee. Exceptional service from the whole team from start to finish !

I just can say it was a so-so experience dining here, but there are a few things I would like to mention: For food: 1. I ordered a side dish of lobster tail. It was extremely salty & didn't seem very fresh. 2. The orange duck was overly sweet. 3. The foie gras was cold when served. I expected it to be a hot dish, wasn't it? The steak was overdone (I ordered medium-well). For service: 1. The waiter kept talking with the guests seated near us while preparing our food. I'm not complaining-it's part of the service-but I felt it wasn't very hygienic to talk over the food. 2. The date I went to the restaurant was my father's birthday. I left a note when booking the table online, & they kindly prepared a candle on the dessert I ordered. Overall, I'm quite disappointed with the experience. It wasn't what I expected based on the reviews I read. However, this is just my experience. I wanted to share it for those considering this restaurant in Old Quebec City.

We have a wonderful dinner. It was a dinner & a show with the table side preparations of the Caesar Salad, Steaks & Baked Alaska. Food was on point. I especially appreciated our server, Bryan. He was professional yet friendly. Others were stuffy. This is not my preference when out. Highly recommend.

Definitely not worth the price & given the number of other dinning options I would pass on this one. Our chateaubriand was absolutely flavorless & the pepper corn steak was over cooked. Could have been due to our chef spending too much time chatting with the table next to us & not enough attention to details.

Avec Andrea nous avons passé une superbe soirée: avec Andrea qui a fait cuire notre steak filet mignon, à la perfection & la salade César était la meilleure que nous avons mangé depuis au moins 5 ans. Il faut comprendre qu'il est vraiment fier!🌈 Avec Andréa, je mets l'étoile de fierté ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Je vous recommande le vin Cosmus, un élixir de plaisir! Andréa va vous le servir avec plaisir! Andrea est en train de me créer un nouveau thé. J'aimerais vraiment mettre 6 étoiles

We were so impressed with our experience at Le Continental that we returned the very next night! On our first visit, we had the special Flambé duck, which was an absolute delight. The flavors were rich & perfectly balanced, & the tableside preparation added a unique touch to the evening. We couldn't resist coming back the next night to try the Flambé steak, but the duck remained the standout dish-it was truly exceptional. The Caesar salad was fresh & flavorful, & the sweets were the perfect ending to both meals. The service was top-notch, with the staff making us feel welcome & ensuring everything was flawless. Le Continental has certainly earned a special place in our hearts, & we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Quebec City! & when we travel again to Quebec City we know where to go from now.
