Everything was excellent. I did however find it odd the cooked stake was put back on the metal tray where the raw steak was. I understand that there shouldn't be any cross contamination issues with high quality fresh meat & that the cooked steak was probably hot enough to cook any raw juices on the plate, but still I was a little uncomfortable seeing that.

We left the restaurant feeling like we fell into a tourist trap. Average, over priced food. We were charge $19 plus tax & tip for 3 small pieces of cheese. The French fries felt like the cheap kind you get from a fast food restaurant, & the chocolate lava cake was over baked. The steak was ok but definitely not worth $70.

C'était notre première fois dans ce restaurant & nous avons toutes été conquise. Les 3 steaks préparés devant nous par Andréas étaient très succulents, fondants . Je vous lrecommande fortement ce lieu pour un souper chic . 5 étoiles sans hésitation 🥰. Merci vraiment à Andreas qui était à notre service.

Pretty much everyone who visits Québec City raves about Le Continental & insists on paying a visit. So we did, & it was good food, theatrics & lot of money. The service was excellent, & we were taken care of. The staff are attentive & well presented as you would expect. Cocktails are nice to start off. Our starters arrived looking good. My Escargot not only looked good but tasted great as it was handled well by the chef. The classic Minestrone soup got a thumbs up from my partner. We had to go for the famous Caesar Salad, which was freshly prepared right in front of you, & it tasted divine. & then came the main course with the drama, which makes it interesting. My steak was nicely handled, & the only quib I had was the consistency of the sauce, which was too runny. My partner's fillet mignon also got a thumbs up. The sides & bread with butter were good. Finally, the Crepe Suzette was also prepared in front of us, fresh & delicate & lovely. The atmosphere was nice but a little dark for me with lightning. It definitely was an experience, particularly with the biggest tip I've ever given.

The table side steaks & desserts were very well prepared & fun to watch. Our waiter's attention to gluten free was exceptional. Sadly the lobster bisque & tenderloin were lukewarm.

Le Continental was a spectacular experience all around. It is old world luxury, traditional French steakhouse & the very best in service all at once. We are grateful to have had the experience of dining at Le Continental. When we return to Quebec City, we will return to Le Continental.

They cooked my steak & my wife's shrimp at the table. The service, food, & experience were amazing. It's expensive, but worth it. I was happy with some of the wine selections, which were more reasonably priced per glass than some other high-end restaurants in the area.
