We had a great dinner at Le Continental in Old Quebec. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly-medium for me & medium rare for my wife-& it was absolutely delicious. The service was amazing, warm & attentive throughout the evening. The maple sugar pie was a standout dessert-rich & flavorful. The only letdown was the side dishes, which were a bit dry & underwhelming. Still, a memorable meal overall & worth a visit.

Our waiter was very pushy. We were there to celebrate & enjoy time as a family. We were not expecting our waiter to'sort of speak' join our party. He was way too friendly & needed to give us some space. I also thought while the food was very good, they need some sort of ventilation system as much of the food is cooked table side & the restaurant has a burnt butter smell to it. That being said, the Caesar salad was fabulous & so was our food.

This has to be the finest steakhouse in Canada.
Service is overwhelming, but for a reason.
The food is prepared tableside & is amazing.
Beautiful room with plenty of space & nice air conditioning.
We would eat here every night if we could.
