Pretty much everyone who visits Québec City raves about Le Continental & insists on paying a visit. So we did, & it was good food, theatrics & lot of money. The service was excellent, & we were taken care of. The staff are attentive & well presented as you would expect. Cocktails are nice to start off. Our starters arrived looking good. My Escargot not only looked good but tasted great as it was handled well by the chef. The classic Minestrone soup got a thumbs up from my partner. We had to go for the famous Caesar Salad, which was freshly prepared right in front of you, & it tasted divine. & then came the main course with the drama, which makes it interesting. My steak was nicely handled, & the only quib I had was the consistency of the sauce, which was too runny. My partner's fillet mignon also got a thumbs up. The sides & bread with butter were good. Finally, the Crepe Suzette was also prepared in front of us, fresh & delicate & lovely. The atmosphere was nice but a little dark for me with lightning. It definitely was an experience, particularly with the biggest tip I've ever given.

Je n'ai pas aimé d'avoir mon filet mignon noyé dans ce fond de veau épaissi avec au moins + de 12oz de liquide ajouté à ce merveilleux fond de cuisson flambé & déglacé au vin. Ç'a s'est fait tellement vite. Lorsque c'est une 1ere fois on ne connait vos façons de procéder. & les légumes pas très recherchés.

Un repas digne de la cour du Roi.
Moment rafraichissant au coeur d'une page d'histoire.
Personnel caméléon, tous y trouvent réponse à leurs attentes.
En sus de la satisfaction des sens, le non verbal nous fit VOIR l'expérience du personnel sur le planchet de même que derrière les fourneaux.
Félicitations ! Hommage au dévouement du personnel
