The lunch menu was great & had 2 different choices for the appetizer & 4 for the main course. So many vegan options! The dishes were amazing which came along with free tab water. But if you're an tourist & speak English you're not really welcome by the waiter at the front desk..

An unsatisfactory food experience :( We picked this place as the menu looked great & we were in the mood for some Asian food. The Donplings (dumplings) were good & the Thai coconut soup was tasty too. But our main dishes were not good :( We ordered Pad Thai (which had the wrong sauce, tasted like strong soy sauce base), Bi Bim Bap (not the right flavors) & Tantaramen. So I would not recommend it for Asian food. :( Felt like we paid a lot for not being satisfied with the flavor. Staff was nice but service was very slow.

My husband & I had a lovely, delicious, & healthy dinner here. We started with the beet tartare & spinach & artichoke dip, then had the mushroom risotto & gnocchi. The dishes warmed our souls from the inside out during unusually cold spring weather. Staff were super friendly & the food was spectacular. We would come back to Quebec just for another laid back & excellent vegan dinner at Don.

The restaurant delivers excellent vegan food with warm service in a cozy setting.
The menu offers creative plant-based dishes with vibrant flavors, generous portions, & plenty of protein-rich options.
Staff are friendly & attentive, happy to explain ingredients & suggest dishes, which makes the experience feel very welcoming.

We visited Old Quebec City this Christmas season (2025) from Washington DC & were so impressed by the vegan dishes (incl. gluten-free options) that Don Vegan offered much to our surprise (since we expected the region to be very meat-heavy). The recipes were well thought through & super yummy unlike restaurants where vegan options seem like an afterthought to basically check the box. Kudos to Don Vegan! 👏👏👏 We landed up eating here 4 times during our 8-day stay 😆😋😋 US certainly needs to catch-up to Canada when it comes to quality of vegan food (based on our experience at a few other restaurants too)!!

The food was soooo good, we all loved our dishes. The decor is fun, & the servers were attentive. When I visit Quebec I always make sure to book this restaurant.

I was hesitant to go to a fully vegan restaurant. However based on reviews, I decided to try. We ordered a few different dishes, & they were all amazing. My only regret was we didn't get to go back a second time.

Excellent vegan restaurant in the heart of old Quebec City. Dining alone, I had the brocolli soup, artichoke dip with chips, & Don's cake (vegan version of cheesecake). Everything was absolutely delicious. Most of the main dishes looked amazing but as I have a gluten, soy & MSG intolerance I was limited in my choices.

Overall it was absolutely excellent. The servers were wonderful, the food came out fast & it was very busy. I would definitely return.

Amazing vegan experience at Le Don! Every dish was not only beautifully plated but also full of flavor & creativity. Huge shoutout to the sweet lady who introduced the dishes to us-she was incredibly nice & made the experience even more delightful 💕
