I had high hopes for the resort & they weren't fully matched. The lake & surrounding nature are absolutely gorgeous, but not highly accessible from the resort itself. The rooms are modern & clean, but the A/C units were special. We tried all sorts of combinations, but you will typically be rotating between frigid & sweltering. Setting the unit on dry did control the humidity well. Beds are comfortable though & thankfully we didn't have issues with cleanliness. The wifi is terrible & 5G is spotty. No housekeeping, although they are quick to remove hallways plates & cups, which is fantastic The restaurant had an amazingly delicious gluten free risotto & a great kids menu. The breakfast buffet is okay, but could use more fruit additions. Gluten free toast & a dedicated toaster were available. Most of the servers were warm & friendly. We were told at one point that tip was not included in the bill, & that was despite the fact that tipping was an option on the machine. That experience was a little off-putting & I can only guess the motivation behind the comment. The pools were lovely & clear. The indoor hotub wasn't terribly hot, but the outdoor ones were perfect. The outdoor setup was gorgeous. Technically outdoor hot tubs & pool were for 16+. One of the indoor saunas was out of service & the outdoor one was too. A word of caution, this building was established in the early 60s & as such, there is little accessibility included in the design. If you were fully dependent on mobility devices this resort is not accessible.

I recently stayed at this hotel for a wedding & had a mixed experience. The hotel is a bit on the older side, & I stayed on the third floor. Unfortunately, I wasn't aware that the hotel did not have an elevator, which made it quite challenging to carry all the luggage for both myself & my fiancée. On the positive side, the hotel offers a wide range of outdoor activities, including kayaking, a pool, & a basketball court, which were great for keeping us entertained. However, what truly stood out to me was the restaurant & the bar. The food was excellent, & the bar had a fantastic atmosphere. Overall, while the hotel has some inconveniences, the amenities & the dining experience made our stay enjoyable.
