I only visited this restaurant for breakfast, so I can't speak for their lunch or dinner menu, but I can confidently say they serve the best Eggs Benedict I've had anywhere in Canada. The dish was perfectly prepared, balanced, & genuinely memorable.
The interior isn't particularly remarkable, but the quality of the food & the warm, attentive service more than make up for it.
A great spot for a delicious & satisfying start to the day.

Amazing place! The food is delicious, the pricing is reasonable, the service was amazing & I loved the cozy atmosphere.
*edit : I went back for bruch & I wouldn't recommend the breakfast. I was disappointed in the food & the quantity of the food compared to when I went for lunch
Brasserie Les Mordus is a part of the Clarendon Hotel & one of a few restaurants that open before 8am. We had some activities that required us to start the day really early & this place came in clutch in providing us a breakfast spot that wasn't a coffee shop or McDonald's. The service was a bit slow, but not horrible. Food was decent & a huge step up from fast food breakfast.
Had breakfast there after my stay. Nice little restaurant. Staff very attentive. Our waitress Axelle was super sweet & funny! Need more people like that ! Would go back!
Went here for breakfast with my mom & ordered the American pancakes & bacon. The staff weren't the friendliest, but I understand-maybe it's a cultural difference.
My pancakes arrived, but my bacon didn't. I assumed it was still being cooked. I finished my pancakes, & about 15 minutes later, the waitress came over to ask if the food was okay. When I asked about the bacon, she gave me a blank stare, went to punch it into the system, & it came out promptly after that.
The bacon was oddly served with lettuce-maybe a French thing?-& unfortunately it was cold with a tough, almost shoe-leather texture.
After we finished eating, we waited about 15 minutes with our wallets out we decided to go up to the counter to pay I think maybe this might have been there policy to pay at the counter not sure
Overall, I'd give my experience a 5/10. I suspect locals might have a different experience, but for English visitors, I'd proceed with caution.
Had breakfast here with my family on our last day of vacation! The food was wonderful, & our host Axelle was an amazing personality! She was incredibly accommodating & funny! Would come back!

The breakfast was delectable, & the staff exuded a warm & welcoming demeanour. Sandil's exceptional service & attentive nature made our stay truly memorable.

Wonderful for breakfast! We had the chocolate Belgian waffle & the chia pudding. They were beautifully presented & arranged on the plates & delicious. The staff was very friendly & the decor was well done.
As this restaurant was located in the hotel where we were staying it made for a very convenient location for any meals & as luck would have it the food & service were excellent.
There were both delicious & reasonably priced breakfast plus dinner items to select from delivered with fast & friendly service.
Have some specialties in normal breakfast. Lots of veggies & diced fruit snack in each breakfast option which I love so much. Potato balls take place of regular fries, which reduce grease. Well cooked sunny side & Benedict eggs. Use pastry bread to make burger. Little changes make big difference, & the flavors are up to my expectations. Hope to have chance to try lunch or dinner.
If you want a wonderful French experience, Brasserie Les Mordus provides it. We were just in Quebec for a 4-day weekend & ate here for 2 breakfasts & a dinner - just because we enjoyed it so much!
(breakfast) Was staying at Clarendon as my family used to come here all the time. Restaurant has changed, service was just ok. Seems to be a confusing atmosphere for staff to work in. While beautiful, just ok. Staff doesn't seem excited to serve. (Night) Last night my friend & I got back to the hotel at 10PM & wanted to have a night cap - we were informed that they were closing & that it wasn't possible. Totally fine, we said, we'll go to a bar down the street. We went back to the lobby to decide where we were heading, & bartender chased us out, profusely apologizing to us about having been turned away & said we could in fact order a drink to have there or to take to our room. Weird.
Service attentive. The kitchen keeps fouling up orders. Overall lack of service supervision. Fine for a hotel breakfast. So many other better places within a short walk.
