My wife & I had identified this restaurant as one we would like to visit on our trip through Canada & North East USA.
We arrived in town & made our way to the old quarter but the restaurant only opens at 5pm. So we did our sightseeing which included a 15 mile round trip bike ride. We called in on our way back to the hotel to see if we could get at table later, after we’d had a chance to change. The maitre d told us we could even eat now, despite our attire. So we figured why not?
The evening was a great experience. The staff were really excellent. I tried a little French & they were polite & friendly. We decided on the 6 course sampler, with an emphasis on vegetarian but with some fish.
What followed was a taste bud bonanza. Each plate was both beautifully presented & explained by the server, paired wonderfully with our drinks & in fact ended up being 7 courses as they chef had tried out a new dish! The servers, the manager all came over to check with us, recommend drinks etc.
I had a local cider, my wife a couple of local beers. Neither of us do well with wine!
The menu was thoughtful, the service was outstanding the ambience was a laid back chic vibe.
If I could give this place more stars then I would.
Best meal during our visit to Quebec. Stellar service. Top notch start to finish. We had the filet beef for two & the mozzarella zucchini app. Highly recommend.
We did the discovery menu for a table of six with pairings. The entire experience was exceptional from start to finish. Service was thoughtful, patient, & fun. Food was creative, beautifully plated, & tasted wonderful. Will recommend very highly to all who visit QC. Cheers!

The waiter did not need to come up & say in a loud voice that a 20% tip was expected. I will not recommend this restaurant. I also found the entrees a bit repetitive on terms of flavor combinations. While I may applaud the concept excecution was abit precious.
I am a single woman & wanted a fine dining experience. Friends recommended this restaurant. I had made a reservation.
I was seated at the bar, the only person to be seated there. I thought okay I am one person, possibly the tables are held for more than one person.
The seats were more than uncomfortable, there was no back, taking a repose during dining was not possible, no toe room to move one's legs around, etc.
Upon sitting, I chose to only order the entrée I had come to savor. Less time in that seat.
Imagine my irritation upon leaving to see a single man seated comfortably at a table. At that point I felt extremely unwelcome.
Return? Thank you but NO THANK YOU.
Additionally I was put off by the plastic plants, to my mind very tacky.

We had a party of 8. The food was fantastic & the cocktail pairing was excellent. The staff was very professional & we all had a great experience. I'd recommend this restaurant to friends.
