Le Normandin est un restaurant de type familial. Je ne m'attendais donc pas à de la hauteur gastronomie. En ce sens, j'ai été très satisfaite. À mon arrivée un mercredi soir à 18h, j'ai tout de suite été accueillie. Elle m'a offert de m'assoir au bistro ou la salle à manger. Le serveur m'a demandé si je voulais commander à boire pour débuter. Il est revenu rapidement avec ma bière. Quelques instants après, quand mon menu était fermé, il a pris ma commande. J'ai reçu mon repas dans un délai plus que normal. La suite du service était sans faille. Le repas était un mac-homard. Il était offert dans un bol à gratin. C'était bien chaud. Les nouilles étaient al dente. La sauce était à la hauteur de ce type de restaurant. Il y avait des morceaux de homard & de crevettes, rien pour déborder. La portion était parfaite. J'aurais peut-être souhaité un petit pain (gratuit) en à côté comme dans plusieurs restaurants où l'on sert des pâtes. C'est très chouette cette assez grande boutique à l'entrée avec quelques frigidaires où l'on trouve de la pizza, sauces & autres. C'est tentant ! Plusieurs espaces de types banquettes pour s'asseoir.

EXCELLENT. Bon rapport qualité-prix. Pas de la haute gastronomie mais très correct, abordable. Endroit chaleureux, belle ambiance. Menu varié. Le personnel n'était pas des plus souriant mais il faut dire que le restaurant était plein. Service quand mené rapide.

Le service était peu agréable. La pizza n'était pas coupée (service pour emporter) & l'employée a soupiré lorsque nous lui avons demandé de la couper. La pâte de la pizza était tellement mince & peu cuite qu'il n'était pas possible de la prendre. J'ai mangé beaucoup mieux à d'autres Normandin.
