The food was absolutely fantastic. I had some of the freshest oysters I could ever ask for, followed by the chanterelle carbonara, which honestly looked & tasted like it was made in heaven. The beef tartare with the thin cut fries was superb as well.
For our main course, we had the braised beef, & it was so incredibly tender that you could practically eat it with a spoon.
But what truly made the experience unforgettable was the hospitality. The entire team was so attentive, welcoming, & incredibly patient with my broken French. Everyone was kind, warm, & genuinely hospitable. They showed us what true hospitality really means.
A special shout out to Elisabeth, our server. She was absolutely fantastic. Definitely my favourite.
It was also my birthday, & Elisabeth surprised me with a delicious crème brûlée & a candle, making the experience even more special.
I am already looking forward to coming back.
If you are visiting Rimouski, put La Réserve Bistrô on your list. For me, it is officially my favourite restaurant in Quebec so far.

L'ambiance & le service est excellent & c'étais délicieux ! Merci à notre serveuse Catherine pour sont très bon service ! Par contre j ai trouver l'accueil à notre arrivée un peu froide ! Mais j ai quand même passé une belle soirée ! Leurs terrasse est vraiment sa coche ! :)
Nous avons mangé un excellent repas, la qualité des plats était 5 étoiles. Le service était attentionné au niveau de nos demandes, mais je me dois d'être d'accord avec certains autres avis & dire que le délai pour les plats était assez long. Mais somme toute, une très belle expérience culinaire.
Le menu est exceptionnel. Les portions sont généreuses & le choix des ingrédients est raffiné, ce qui en fait une très belle expérience gastronomique.
Le seul aspect qui mériterait une attention particulière est le service. Le personnel est courtois & sympathique, mais gagnerait à être un peu plus présent en salle, notamment pour le service du vin ou simplement pour s'assurer que tous les convives disposent des ustensiles nécessaires.
Nous aurions d'ailleurs très probablement commandé une autre bouteille de vin ainsi que des desserts si quelqu'un était venu nous le proposer.
Ce commentaire se veut avant tout constructif. Avec un service plus attentif & proactif, l'expérience serait tout simplement remarquable.
Tout était parfait du début à la fin, les plats sont composés avec soin, excellent rapport qualité prix en plus d'un personnel super chaleureux, un 5 sur 5! Merci pour la belle soirée!
Une toute première expérience dans ce restaurant ce soir pour l'anniversaire de mon conjoint, & nous sommes ressortis de l'établissement complètement sous le charme ! Des plats parfaitement équilibrés & goûteux, un service attentionné & une belle ambiance. Nous reviendrons assurément quand nous serons de passage à Rimouski. Ce restaurant est un bijou! C'est maintenant un must à chaque visite à Rimouski. Excellent service, professionnel, courtois & de haut niveau. Les plats incroyables mettent bien en valeur la qualité des produits d'ici avec un savoir-faire hors pair. Je recommande sans hésiter!
