The chicken is amazing with the chicken parmesan, & the Ferrari theme is cool. There were also 2 Lamborghini huracans parked outside, & the waiter was the most Italian I've ever seen
Amazing restaurant with authentic Italian flavors! My favorite dish is the Fettucine Aux Champignons-absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is fantastic, the service is excellent, & the staff are very welcoming. The prices are reasonable for the quality & generous portions. Highly recommend!

Inside is this wonderfully busy, vibrant italian feel restaurant! The staff (all of them) are engaged in the practice of making sure dinner guests are taken care of with a smile & lively interactions. Then comes the food. You will have to stop part way through & remind yourself you are in Quebec. This is especially true if you don't speak French or Italian because it just feels like you are away. Might be my new way of foreign travel....going to Quebec City! What a wonderful part of Canada. Eat here!
Above average tourist italian restaurant. Pesto had cream through it so on traditional. Tortellini beef was in axrose sauce & very good. Eventing else was a great standard. Nice decor, however, quite busy in the summer. Great atmosphere being in the old town.
We had an amazing dining experience at Portofino!
The historic building creates a beautiful, cozy atmosphere, but the food is the real star. The veggie pizza was perfect with a crisp, wood-fired crust & fresh toppings. The pesto pasta was also outstanding rich, incredibly flavorful, & perfectly cooked. The service was excellent from start to finish. Highly recommend if you are looking for top-tier Italian food in the city!
Very friendly & professional staff, hostess, & waiters.
We had beef carpaccio to start, then cacio e pepe & carbonara, & ended with affogato & tiramisu.
All orders came out tasty. Met our expectation. Carbonara was superb.
The place is in very good location & has potential be packed by tourists & locals both. The menu has both mixture of central Italian & Italy western shore typical dishes.
If I visit QC again, I stop by at this place to dine. No doubt.
Had such a great experience here! The pasta was fresh, flavorful, & cooked perfectly. The focaccia bread was warm, soft, & absolutely delicious - honestly one of the highlights of the meal. Cozy atmosphere, great service, & authentic Italian flavors. Definitely a spot worth visiting again!
Overall our direct interactions with the service was pleasant. The staff all seem to get along great but unfortunately their good time together greatly impeded ours. They had very loud boisterous conversation in the middle of the otherwise quiet restaurant. Their conversation was not overall what I would say to be appropriate either, with plenty of cursing & off hand remarks. The food took quite some time to get, & without many other customers it almost felt rude for them to all be out in the front of the house. When it came to the food, I found it be considerably lacking. We had the mushroom appetizer which was probably the best course of the diner. The margherita pizza was soggy, & while it did have fresh basil, it was mere slivers of it. I would say though it did taste like they at least use San Marzano's tomatoes throughout. Our lasagna was rather bland & disappointing, the sausage had no real bite to it & the sauce tasted of just tomato. It wasn't the worst Italian food I have had, but it certainly wasn't anything I would write home about.
